"Friendly helpful staff, pleasant hotel for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was very good - good range of options, well stocked and tasted great."

"Large room and excellent bathroom. Staff cheerful and friendly. The service at breakfast was particularly good and that seems to be unusual now in our experience. We have stayed here before when exploring the area and came this time for an overnight stay before joining a cruise. It is good value and has lots of amenities should guests wish to use them."

"Lovely staff, lovely room, only thing that let the hotel down was the other guests who were noisy in the hallway, were rude dropping doors closed on a wheelchair user, or came to breakfast unwashed and wearing inappropriate nightwear. Perhaps the hotel management could consider a 'no service if wearing nightwear' rule?"

"Perfect location for a stay close to family who live in Southsea. Everything we needed, including a bar to relax for an hour before bed. Free coffee and water in reception was awesome. All amenities on the doorstep in a wonderful safe environment. I would stay here every time."

"My second stay at this hotel which pretty much mirrored the previous stay with a few more positives. I found a perfect parking spot just near the entrance and didn't want to give it up so I dined at the sports bar which was a wise decision as the food provided was top notch. My room was on the 2nd floor just around the corner from the leisure facilities which I took full advantage of using both the cardio equipment and weights. A very powerful shower later had me ready for bed which was comfy and led to a decent night's sleep. The breakfast buffet had great ingredients for both a cooked and continental choice of which I sampled a bit of both. For the caliber of place this is and all you have at your disposal, to get a quality room like mine for under £100 is considered a great bargain and I look forward to being back here again in the future."
