"Perfect little place to stay in the kewanaw. Convenient and most importantly-- clean! Our first night in the U.P. was in a nightmare of a cabin infested with mice. Tonight we are in a 3 bedroom house in wakefield that looks good, but smells like urine. The little brown house was neat, updated, comfortable and had everything that you expect in a well kept, well run rental.The Little Brown house beats the pants off these other places because of the cleanliness and simplicity of the property.The mattress was a dream!The one thing it needs is a firepit and/or back deck, but we were only there for one night!"

"Our family, 3 generations and furry friends throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely furnished and yard had amazing view for star gazing, bonfire and smores. Lots of privacy in secluded woods and wildlife. Jason & Misty were quick to respond. Would stay again if come back to this area to visit. In just a short stay we covered a lot of area, Calumet Waterworks park just a mile down the road for rock hunting and went to Copper harbor drove up the mountain. "
"This hotel turned out to be one of my favorites. Check-in and Check-out were easy and quick. The room was cleaned each day of our stay. Everything worked in the room except hot water for the shower. Breakfast was good and parking was plentiful. Thanks for a great stay."

"The cabin was in a nice location. The driveway needs a little maintenence. It was rough driving in and out. The cabin over all reminded me of our hunting shack, but with an upgrade.
It was nice for us because we didnt need anything fancy. The cabin was private, relaxing, close to our favorite beach and we had everything we needed to enjoy our get away. We all slept very well and enjoyed the no use of electric devices for a few days. "
"Had another great stay at the Trail House, lately our home away from home.As per normal, the bed is still wonderful, the kitchen has all you need, the living room is comfortable & the backyard deck is a great place to hang out during down times. Additionally, Slim's Cafe is right across the street, a place you can stop for breakfast or lunch and always has some fresh, homemade bakery goods for sale. We love the Trail House and highly recommend it."

"We had a great day the family that owns us is a fantastic group. There was plenty of parking space and plenty of room for a large group. The house was very well stocked compared to the other rentals that we have rented in the past.We will definitely stay again!"

"Lovely home in an amazing location along Lake Superior. Beautiful to look at, rock hunt, nature everywhere. House has everything that you need and very comfortable furniture and beds. Kids never looked at their electronics or tv! Lots to do nearby. This place is a gem."
