The most outstanding feature of this place is, as many others have stated, is the screened porch. It is much bigger than I thought from the pictures. It has several seating areas as well as a small table and 4 chairs for eating. We are outdoor people so it was nice to say goodbye to the day on the porch. The rest of the house is very nice. The kitchen is very well equipped with a large new fridge and gas stove. There is lots of pots, pans, 2 coffee makers, toaster, etc. There are spices, coffee, and even marshmallows for roasting over a fire. Most of the knives were in serious need of sharpening. The whole house has lots of stuff that have been added over the years such as puzzles, VCR videos, CD's, even 2 kinds of fishing rods. The bathrooms were clean and newly done. The TV in the living room was large and new. Instead of cable they now use ROKU which is much better in my opinion.
There were some issues, none of which would discourage us from coming back, that need attention. I had to reboot the WIFI system 8 times during our 3 night stay. Frustrating. The gas grill was way beyond its replacement date. The burners are almost completely rusted away. Unusable and unsafe. We were disappointed as we had brought some steaks to grill. We used the stove broiler instead. Lastly while the TV was new the VCR and DVD players were ancient. I could not get them to play the DVDs we brought with us. Luckily the laptop and DVD player I brought was easily installed via the HDMI input on the TV.
Again, overall a good experience.
