We have now stayed at the barn for a total of 3 weeks over the past few months, so can honestly rate it as excellent value for money and good for a comfortable stay.
The hosts are there if you need them but are not intrusive. Good access to the East Midlands and South Yorkshire coast, the city of Lincoln and a host of other pretty market towns.
Love that the little garden is secure for our dog and that the bridle way is so close for a walk. That (particularly in the winter months) the washing machine is also a drier.
Whilst the Royal Oak pub is literally adjacent to the barn, just across a foot bridge over the Ford, you will not be disturbed by any noise (it closes by 8pm most days); the real ale is excellent there and whilst they do not routinely serve food, there are monthly pie nights, fish and chips and other activities. A true gem of an English pub!
We can confidently recommend staying at the Barn, Snitterby!
