"Staff went out of their way to please. This is a quintesential small Panamanian hotel. Not perfect in terms of condition. Older hotel with flaws as far as condition but staff makes up for that 10 times over. Personal service and food and drink very good and priced well. Quiet area with pool and hilltop view of Pacific. If you want an updated hotel stay in Panama City. If not go to Hotel Eclipse and get one on one service and comfort at a reasonable price and deal with a superbe staff!"
"Extremely friendly and caring host, who was immensely helpful and went well above and beyond what one could reasonably expect. Beautiful property, very nice outdoor area with a creek. Felt very safe and the local community was very friendly. Very comfortable bed.
The only inconveniences were a couple internet outages and some moth flies in the bathroom, but these are the sort of things I expect at this price point and did not at all detract from the wonderful time I had there!
PS I found the shower temperature controls a little bit confusing but maybe I was just being dumb. To get hot water, just turn the dial a little bit. You will get a strong stream of hot water. Turning it all the way gives cold water. The temperature settings(?) on the showerhead are independent and shouldn't be touched. Don't trick yourself into taking a cold shower like I did!"
"Room was wonderful with great views. Housekeeping and meal staff were friendly helpful and professionalism. Great quiet location. Grounds are well maintained. We will return again in future. "
"Dennis is an amazing host, he offered suggestions on activities and restaurants and was always more than happy to answer any questions we had.The cabana was exactly as described and the property was beautiful. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs! The neighboring properties have dogs and roosters."
"Victoria and the property are both amazing. The location is perfect - close to the main street but far enough back to avoid noise. Lots of options for shopping, food and activities. "
