“I enjoyed the stay so much. My room was stunning. It was clean,big, and very comfortable. You are given a code to get through the front door and a code to get into your room. It was very easy. Such a beautiful place the best place I've stayed in a very long time.”

As two female guests, perhaps because we stayed only one night, it felt strange to be given the room right by the entrance/office area.”

“Great boutique hotel! Located near the action by foot and rideshare. Very eclectic and comfortable room, great sheets. Daily breakfast was AMAZING! Thank you to Evelyn whose daily breakfast casseroles were delicious and added a great protein base, along with fruit/yogurt/oatmeal and other tidbits. There's a cozy patio with a firepit for evenings or morning breakfast right outside the main dining area. Chatted with fellow guests here and in the colorful front parlor. “Good bar drinks, food and service. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, unfortunately. The staff seemed to not care much and lacked the proper hospitality attitude. Especially compared to the surrounding hotels in Newport where I've stayed and have felt much more welcomed compared Hotel Viking.”

“This is a gem of a motel in a perfect location for beach access (or to nearby Kingston, Wakefield etc.). It was immaculate and so well maintained with a friendly staff. The room was lovely, there was plenty of hot water, I was so grateful for in room coffee and mini fridge and the 6:30 AM coffee in the office! My only minor piece of feedback is that there are only bagels for breakfast so maybe a few yogurts or other options would be amazing but this was a wonderful place to stay while I was……

“I ended up not staying here because when I requested a lower level room, they gave me the key and it was immediately noticed that the room had not been cleaned in a while. The room smelled musty and the bathroom ceiling above the shower was molded. The bed linens were stained, and the 1 set of towels were well worn. There were cobwebs hanging along the edge of the ceiling and even spiders in the webs. There were carpenter ants crawling across the entryway, the microwave door would not close……
