“The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. ”

“Four adults stayed in Cottage 1 at Buccaneer Beach Club. We checked into a clean cottage and it was cleaned every 2nd day. Shout out to Natalie who cleaned and always had the nicest smile and kind soul. Stanley is one of the first faces we saw, he greeted us and helped with the luggage and groceries we had. Stanley set up the beach chairs, umbrellas and raked the beach. Amos kept the beautiful lush grounds pristine! Oscar was another kind personable staff at this resort. Our Cottage 1 had a……

“large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but……

“We stayed at Trade Winds for 11 days at the beginning of January 2026 and had a wonderful experience, largely due to the outstanding staff. All the check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming with a shout out to Kerisa. In the hotel restaurant, Kevin consistently noticed my preferences and accommodated them without being asked, which gave a really personal feel to our dining. “I loved my room a little way too much! I wish I would have stayed in this hotel for more days. I was very impressed with my stay and how close it is to downtown. The only issue I encountered was that the hotel room that I booked included breakfast but the hotel was charging for breakfast. ”

“The staff was very friendly. I felt very safe and welcome. The beach in front of my villa was beautiful although I wish they had more available umbrellas. The restaurants nearby were very good and plenty of excursions to partake in.”

“This was a lovely stay! We chose it for the price & location being right in the middle of the island and only about 20 minutes in any direction to any of the harbors, etc. They are very kind, very clean & it's peaceful in the 'country' there. The bed was comfy but both of our backs hurt after staying in it for a couple nights, so that's why I rated comfort a 4/5 but overall I would highly recommend!”
