“Where to start here: This is an utterly stunning palazzo, and home. Hard to call a hotel simply because it’s so unique and a centuries old building and family home which is being lovingly and slowly restored in the nicest way and we as guests are being allowed the short pleasure of staying to enjoy its wonderful history.
More than this though the family - Giueseppe, Fernando and Mama Rafaela are just the most welcoming and warm people who are ready and willing to do everything to make their……

“A nice room with a small balcony. It could have been better designed to fit a sofa and we had to ask for chairs for the balcony. The view is of the port but that was fine.
The room was quite but we were here in October. Location was an easy walk to everything.
The staff were attentive and always answered queries and suggested things to do quickly.”Nicholas

“We had a wonderful 2 week stay here. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. It was very central to all the attractions and restaurants but was quiet at night. The staff were lovely and friendly & any questions were answered promptly. We really enjoyed our stay.”Nathalie

“Fantastic location just a few minutes walking from the train station, so no need to walk a ton or take a taxi if you're carrying luggage. Near everything (Corso Roma shopping, 10 min walking to the Old Town).
Big and clean room with comfortable be, great light and helpful amenities (including strong fast wifi and a mini fridge).
The staff is SO nice and flexible and communicative. I arrived very early and they hustled to get my room ready. And they were very attentive to all my questions and……JONATHAN

“Everything was great, except there was a sewage smell coming from our bathroom. We did not report it to the front desk since we only stayed for 4 nights. The cleaning staff were on top of the room cleaning.”Mandana

“We arrived early and were offered use of the pool, changing room and lunch. Our room was ideal, and well fitted (although no kettle, available on request). It was nice and quiet, both by the pool and in the room, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beachfront with cafes, bars and shops. We had a car and parking was easy, so it made this hotel an ideal base to explore the Salento area and Gallipoli.
All the staff were friendly, both on the desk and at breakfast which was a buffet style with some hot……Simon Guy

“This B and B was completely misrepresented on line. Property is an extension of the Il Bastione hotel which is where we would of stayed knowing what we know now. Photos of the B and B were not accurate as the photos represented a renovated part of the property and were not the rooms we stayed in. Peeling paint, musty smell and moldy bathrooms, lights that did not work etc….check in was difficult as property was far away from the main hotel within no signs directing us. We were able to check in……Mildred
