Great home in great location

Property was clean and functional. The home was well maintained, clean, furnished and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach. Very nice beds, kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

Beachy Fun

Family friendly. Close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. We were happy that Galveston was recovering from the hurricane, we were there 10 days after.

Perfect house for family vacation.

This is the second time we've stayed at Just Beachy. Our family loves the house and the location! The house decorations are great! Love the crabs!! There are multiple decks to choose from for relaxation. The beach is a very short walk. We will definitely stay at Just Beachy again!!

Great location and amazing place!

This house had a great location, only 5 houses from the beach! Our kids loved the bunk room and the master bedroom felt like home! Kathy was amazing to work with! Special thank you to her for helping us get this house booked VERY last minute, since our other 2 places cancelled on us due to the after-math of Hurricane Beryl! Highly recommend!

Great place to unwind

This place was everything and more. From all things you need in kitchen to open space. It was more then enough room for everyone. Beach was only a couple steps away which was perfect to be able to go back and forth. Over all 5 out 5 I would definitely book again.

Beach Getaway

The house was clean and perfect for our mini getaway with some family friends. The kids loved the triple bunk bed and the we all loved the storm shutters keeping it dark and letting us sleep in! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. It was a really quick walk to the beach which was awesome! Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely look to stay here again!

Great for a getaway

Beautiful property. Kids loved the bunkbeds! Only issue we had on arrival was that the refrigerator wasn’t working the first evening. This was an inconvenience but I communicated with Kathy and she had a repairmen there the following morning to fix it.

Fantastic stay!

2 friends and I took my daughter and 6 friends for a 16th birthday girls' weekend. This house was perfect! The best part was that all 7 of them fit in the bunk room together. The primary bedroom was large - plenty of floor space for an air mattress, if necessary. The multiple wraparound porches were also so fun and relaxing. The walk to the beach was super easy. We can't say enough good things about this property, and we will definitely book again.

The Vrbo service and the Just Beachy house management were excellent, making our reservation and arrival easy and convenient. The house was located near the beach so that the 8 members of our family could walk the block or so to the beach quickly at any time. I enjoyed the large wraparound decks. From there I could see my grandkids playing catch on the beach. For me, my favorite activity was sitting on the deck at sunset sipping wine and listening to music. The only negative was caused by a maid or previous guest have place a basket back into the freezer backwards. This prevent the freezer door from closing which resulted in the system freezing up and causing a loud annoying buzzing sound starting on the morning of our 2nd and final day. Fortunately, management responded promptly, sending the nice and well qualified handyman to correct the problem.

Great property manager

We’d just finished unpacking the car when we noticed an issue with the home (water leak from big rain storm). We were unable to stay at this home due to repair work that needed to be done, but the property manager was able to relocate us to a different home in the same neighborhood so we could continue our vacation! Grateful for their flexibility and quick work to find room for our group of 7!

Close to the beach

We stayed at just Beachy with our two boys and some family friends. The house is conveniently located close to the beach and is a good size. The boys loved the bunk room so that was a plus. The upstairs area has been remodeled and is very cozy. The downstairs area is a little dated with not a lot of furniture, like dressers, to be able to put your clothes somewhere. We ended up using shelves in the master bedroom closet. We did observe a very large cockroach also. The remote to turn on the light and fan in the bunk room was missing upon arrival so we had no way of turning those on, but our host was gracious and purchased a lamp for the room and had it delivered the very next day which we appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs and is very close to the beach with partial views of the ocean. Our host was very helpful and kind.

Just a Dream!

Just Beachy was absolutely heavenly! My husband and I were here through the month of January, and the area was nice and quiet. The home is exactly as it is shown in all the photos. From the living area we could see both the sunrise and sunset. At night we enjoyed star gazing from the upper deck. Having decks on two levels was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the house is clean. The beach is just a short walk away and most of the time we could hear the waves from the house. All of our needs were met with the ample amenities. We were also pleased with the responsiveness of Kathy at Why Waite. We wanted to get away from corporate rental agencies so we could rent from local home owners and agencies and Why Waite was excellent. We have already booked our next stay with them.

Small family get away

Very very relaxed , could’ve been more cleaner , I know it’s not the owners fault , little fixer uppers , but over all stay was very nice , great house just needs some small TLC . I would definitely stay here again
