Fantastic Beach Vacation!

Our family wanted a quick trip to the beach before our kids go back to school and this place was perfect! Super cute home and decor, very relaxing and comfortable. Tons of different sitting areas and places to relax and still have a few of the beach, which was within easy walking distance! 10/10 highly recommend!

Nice for a quick get away

A few things were broken upon our arrival and not being able to set the AC below 76 degrees had us burning up at night. Otherwise, it was a nice trip and property owners are extremely responsive. We're just used to staying beachfront so I think that's why the very short drive was a bummer but it is very close.

Home away from home!

We stayed at this beach house for about 5 weeks in July while I was receiving cancer treatment at UTMB, and it was truly a blessing to have such a comfortable place during that time. The owners are wonderful—kind, helpful, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was stocked with all the essentials, which made our extended stay so much easier.The only small challenge was the A/C instructions, which asked that it be kept at 76. Honestly, it didn’t bother me since I usually wear a sweater, but my husband picked up a couple of fans for the bedroom just to keep it extra cool at night. It worked out just fine, and we were very comfortable.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again. Highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a welcoming and well-cared-for place by the beach!

The location of this rental home is truly top notch—just steps from the beach access, which made it easy and convenient for our family to enjoy the gulf throughout our stay. The proximity to the beach was, without a doubt, the best part of this rental.However, there were a few serious concerns that affected our overall experience and need immediate attention:Pest issue – We encountered cockroaches inside the home and had to kill several each morning, which was extremely unsettling.Air conditioning problems – The A/C could not be set below 76 degrees, but the rental company failed to inform us prior to our arrival. This lack of transparency was frustrating, especially given the heat.Cleanliness – The home did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The slipcovers and rugs were visibly dirty, which made the space feel poorly maintained.We had high hopes for this stay, especially given the price and ideal location. Unfortunately, these issues took away from the comfort we expected. With some attention and transparency from the rental company, this could be a great vacation home.
