Updated Historic Home Walk to Beach- Pet Friendly!

Updated and modern with so much original historic charm, built in 1865 this home is registered with the Galveston Historical society as a 1900 Storm Survivor. This updated 2 story is fully fenced and provides enough room for your family to enjoy their island getaway with all modern conveniences including central AC, free WiFi, Smart internet TV’s, and an Xbox.

Kitchen is equipped with cooking and dinnerware, microwave, full size refrigerator, filtered water&I center, stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee pot (kuerig & regular pot), espresso machine, toaster & blender. Wake up and enjoy your coffee on the front porch furnished with rocking chairs and front porch swing, The backyard is another extended living/gathering area featuring wood deck, full size commercial sink, large BBQ pit, Firepit, 3 seating areas and electric gate and private parking for 2/3 vehicles.

This home allows you to relax while taking in a good book, listening to music, or simply browsing on your phone using the free WiFi available and updating your social media with all your fun adventures of the day.

Very nice property, well maintained and beautifully updated and appointed. I would only add one caution. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are very steep and challenging, especially when carrying up luggage or for older guests. Still, we enjoyed our stay in this sweet home which is very close to the beach.

We had a lovely time during our family reunion in Galveston. Great seating options for a group of adults wanting to sit around to talk and play games (of which there is a nice selection!) The place was well-stocked and appointed. Beds were wonderfully comfortable. Several in my party were elderly and had some trouble with the stairs but that wasn't a problem for most of us. We really appreciated the beach chairs and towels. We would love to stay there again!

Comfy and cozy

The owner thought of everything and that made our stay very convenient. I love all the private rooms available. But also that two rooms were joined by a door which was great for the family with little kids. We loved the use of the wagon, boogie boards and beach towels. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit.

Beautiful Historic Vacation Home!

This historic home is very clean and beautifully decorated. It has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, including an upstairs loft. We had a group of 12 and we were very comfortable for our 6 day vacation. The kitchen was very nice. There were small appliances, beach towels, lots of board games, WiFi and much more provided for guests. The parking was safe in the back and accommodated all 3 of our vehicles. The house is close to the beach and the pier. We found lots to do close to the house. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We would recommend this home and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jeree!

Great Vacation House

This House was great! It’s not far from the beach and close to the peer. There are many things to do around. The house was very cozy but very spacious, we had 4 families total of 12 people staying. All the adults stayed downstairs and the kiddos got to stay up stairs and had so much fun! They had plenty of board games, and the kids also enjoyed playing video game. We had everything we needed at all times, the beds were very comfy, and everything was easy access especially in the kitchen. Our stay was great!

Beat our expectations

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location is a short three blocks from the Seawall and beach. Easy access. The home had good ac (it was over 90 degrees today). The beds were comfortable and the decor is beautiful. Plenty of bathrooms and nice kitchen. Front and back porches are great too. Easy parking for two vehicles and we fit three. Fourth car we parked a block away on the street with no issues. The house was quiet. We had 8 staying there including four teenage boys. No problem with noise or space. Lovely trip. Walkable neighborhood full of historic homes. The Strand is a short drive away.
