We had a wonderful time. The condo is spacious and had all of the ammenities that we needed. There is a resturant on the property which we enjoyed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to de-stress!

The location of this unit was perfectly situated for a quick walk to the beach or to the resort. Plenty of games and water toys were available. Really enjoyed having a TV in the sitting area for the kiddos.

Fantastic Property Manager

We have rented at Pointe West several times before, and like the beach, the pools and amenities, the ability to pop up from the beach for lunch at the Beach Club - all very convenient and fun. What made this stay even better was the property manager, James from Best of the West Galveston. He was so professional and responsive, and all the processes regarding checking in and out were so seamless, that we will look for properties managed by them again.

This beautiful condo is steps away from the beach and has lots of great amenities. The view is very pretty from the porch. Very kid friendly with lots of games, extra beach towels, and boogie boards for the beach. We had a great time and were very happy with our stay.

Perfect Pointe West escape!

We’ve been visiting Pointe West for several years and this is by far the nicest unit we’ve stayed in. Super clean, well decorated, modern with lots of nice touches like loaded coffee station, snacks, etc. Property manager was super nice and extremely responsive on questions about details and logistics.

We enjoyed this condo. The layout was great for our family. And the available extras were very useful! Just be aware the elevators were out for our entire stay- that was tough! We also think the dresses should be mounted to the walls. The drawers were difficult to pull and with young children it's a huge safety hazard.

Fully stocked kitchen, but needs a little TLC

Summary: this place was okay, the property manager was great, we would not return. Details below. Pros: the size was great for two families with kids. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook for a week straight—including a slow cooker, electric water kettle, drip coffee pot, and keurig. Most of the necessities were provided for us, including laundry detergent and dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, etc. Cons: the AC must have been off before we arrived because it smelled musty and was hot. I think the AC ran nonstop for about 2 days cooling the entire place down. We identified some other sources of the smell on the doors, which had mildew growing on them. The condo was as clean as the property manager could make it, but someone needs to clean the exterior doors (property owners?). This is not related to the condo itself, but rather the grounds: the last two days of our trip there was an explosion in mosquito population. Every time we walked outside we were swarmed. Packing up and leaving was a nightmare—we had to keep the kids in the unit with an adult while the rest of us literally threw things into our cars while fighting off mosquitos, and that was WITH repellent on. We ended up killing 10 in our car. On top of the mosquito swarm, the elevator stopped working.

Beautiful Condo and view

Absolutely perfect for our family of five! The condo had everything we needed. The beach was just far enough to avoid the crowds and the view was amazing! Beautiful condo that was well decorated. The mattresses were amazingly comfortable. Great host with excellent communication. No need to rent a golf cart as the walkway to the beach was less than 30’seconds away. We will be back for sure! Just what we needed

We had a lovely time. The condo had everything we needed and more. The amenities where fantastic and the view of the ocean was gorgeous. It was quiet and serene. It was just what we needed after a very hard week. We lost our beloved fur baby to a tragic accident and our family is devastated. This getaway allowed us time together as a family to be together and grieve. We will definitely be back, it will forever be a special place for us.

James was very helpful in getting the information I needed. The unit itself could use some tlc. The dining chairs and ottoman had stains, and the big brown couch could use a cleaning or replaced. There was a rusty toiletry item in the main bathroom that needs to be replaced. The a/c filters may need to be changed due to the dust sitting on the vents. Overall, we had a great time!

This was exactly what our family needed! The internet was out when we first got there (due to power outage the night before) so we contacted James, and he was there fixing it within 5 minutes. (On a Sunday night). Super friendly, and the property was exactly as advertised & a perfect walking distance from the club & beach. We look forward to staying here again.
