I love it here! Nice and quiet with a convenient river access. Everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly. They have a pool and sauna as well! And their cute little convenient store is nice if you need ice or any last minute snacks. They even left us fire wood which was so nice. Definitely a nice place for a getaway! I’ll be visiting every year!

What a blast from the past kind of resort! Very drive on motel in the woods! Akira, the manager, was so helpful and gave us insider advice on where to visit for seeing the redwoods, local eats. So knowledgeable about the history of the area it made the stay all that much better! This is the kind of place a solo traveler or families with small kids can enjoy! Staying a few days is a must!

I stayed at the motel room at Dean creek, with my wife and son and my dog, for one night. And we had a very pleasant stay here. It is conveniently located close to the South entrance of the Avenue of the Giants. Would recommend

The property is very cute and cozy as well as clean. We loved the cats that greet you upon arrival. The only minor complaint is that you have to ask for ice at the front desk, which is closed overnight and was not open when we departed, but the staff was lovely when we checked in the night before and we had a great stay.

Nice lay out for overnighters., campers, and hotel stays. Many amenities include large lot for RVS and trailers. Good for kid as well. Swimming pool. Sauna patio areas an bbq’s for cooking outside and when staying in a hotel room.

The cabin we stayed in was clean and quaint, with proper amenities. It had access to the riverbed and wild blackberry bushes in the backyard. The pool was also very nice. We had a very good time. Also, there were cute cats on the property.

So I had no idea what to expect, but needed to book a 2 night stay for work I had in the area. I was so happy to see the spacious, clean room with a country cabin feel and cute quilts to match. I will go out of my way to book with Dean Creek next time I’m in the area.

Ac on a hot day... Nothing like it. I should write a poor review to keep folks away! However, since that would not be very honest, I'll tell you what I liked best. The family run feel with such a 70s vibe. I felt like I was 10 again! One of those places that needs very few upgrades. Perfect place for the little ones also.

Easy to find as it was just off the highway but little to no road noise once we were there. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cabin 4 was pretty clean, nice, plenty of room for 2 people. Great view of the trees and what should have been the river from our deck and picnic area. River was basically dry which was a bummer. It was pretty quiet which was nice. Pool and hot tub were excellent! They even had it stay open an hour later since it was so hot and we took advantage of a sunset swim which was great after a hot car ride. We had a couple minor issues that were taken care of promptly by the staff and they even gave us some locally made mead as a thank you for understanding and a happy birthday. The only thing I would recommend is to bring a mattress pad because personally the mattress was very uncomfortable as it was pretty hard. Other than that we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of everything they offer but we would both go back again. I would recommend checking it out earlier in the year or the fall in the hopes the river has water in it. Overall happy with my stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Dean Creek. It was a good price with a spacious room, AC, TV access, clean bathroom, and a little patio out back. You definitely get what you are paying for, but it was such a cute spot in Redway! The staff were very friendly and helpful; although, there were times when the office was closed during the day and we couldn't grab a few things. When the office was open, there were little snacks, games, ice creams, and literature about the area. It was just down the road from downtown Redway, which we found most of our snacks and goods. There was a bar and a few restaurants available, just make sure to check the hours. The pool was daily maintained and the area was easy to navigate and explore. Make sure to bring sunscreen, it gets very hot during the summer. Overall, I would recommend this place if you like an old school cabin/camping vibe.
