「This is a small cabin/hotel property in Silver Gate Montana, very convenient to Yellowstone NP. I stayed in a cabin which was clean and provided all I needed. The lighting was a little dark. There are a few restaurants nearby but more in Cooke City which is just 4 miles east of Silver Gate. The staff was helpful and made sure you had what you needed. A neat experience!」

「The cabin was clean and great for driving into Lamar Valley. They appear to be building a few cabins, so with the construction nearby and recent heavy rain, it was a bit muddy trying to get parked, but we made it. The stoop is concrete but the driveway is gravel, so we carried our suitcases rather than rolling them over the mud. 「We couldn't have possibly asked for a better cabin to stay in while enjoying our time in Yellowstone National Park. Everything about this cozy cabin was amazing. Immediately we fell in love with the charming porch which had a spectacular view of the mountains. 「The renovated schoolhouse was a dream stay for this retired teacher! I loved all the history and added touches with the decor. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing! The proximity to Yellowstone plus the remote feel of the cabin set on the ranch gave us everything you could want in a vacation. We saw a bear cub along the road to the cabin on 3 separate occasions. 「We really love the cabin, we felt at home there, home away from home. We love the rustic feeling of the cabin. It was set up to meet our needs, love the TV upstairs with a VCR build into it and we watch movies up there.
