“Rooms are dated and not cleaned properly. I originally booked and paid for two nights (through Hotels.com), and extended my stay for one more night directly with the hotel. BUT finally the hotel charged TWO extra nights on the bill. I tried to negotiate with and ask for refund from the hotel by email, however they had not responded to my enquries and requests for over one month (I checked out on Jul 12 and it's Aug 20 today when I write this review.). It's very irresponsible.”

“This hotel is truly a hidden gem. It's a series of cabins that sit right on the water of Siltcoos Lake. My cabin was impeccably clean and so comfortable. I spent hours just sitting on the sofa looking out over the lake. It's in a very peaceful and serene location, so no street or city noise to mar the view. I had a very well-appointed kitchenette. The bed itself was probably one of the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had. The bedding was luxurious and kept me warm all night (a feat……

“Out of all of the places we stayed on our trip driving up the coast, this was by far our favorite stop. We stayed at fancy resorts and swanky hotels, but the Siltcoos retreat was just magical! The amount of detail everywhere you look was amazing. The time and effort put into our conductors cabin, had us in awe. You guys are legendary for what you’ve accomplished there. Y’all we had deer walk up to us in the back yard! They didn’t even care we were there! The next time we are in Oregon, we will……

“My previous worst motel stay was at a $35 place in AZ with chickens running around in the back of the hotel grounds. This hotel was worse than that, and cost more than 3 times to boot. There were soil stains on the rug. The plumbing and water flow reminded me of bathrooms from the 1970s. One of the chair cushions had springs so worn, that I could feel the front wood frame pushing up against the backs of my thighs as I sagged down. Electrical outlets were sparse enough that I had could not……
