Top Garth Pier Hotel Reviews
Nomi Rooms and Restaurant
8/10 Good
"Great stay at Nomi Rooms. The location is good for visiting Anglesey & Eryri, close to restaurants and amenities in Bangor, and having Garth Pier a few steps away was a bonus. Hotel was clean and refurbished to have modern rooms & bathrooms. Other features do remind you that it is an old property such as the windows, lack of lifts and the sound travelling from rooms above, but did not diminish the experience. Sea & pier view from the bedroom was a highlight. The staff and restaurant were outstanding, great service throughout and all staff were very happy to engage with my toddler, which he loved. Food at the restaurant was excellent, very good quality, all dishes were delicious."
Ty Glyndwr Hotel Bangor
8/10 Good
"Nice staff, good sized room. The view of Bangor is spoilt by the piles of rubbish at the back of the hotel and I had an issue with the cold tap producing hot water which I didn't realise til I took a big sip :/"
The Anglesey Arms
10/10 Excellent
"Free parking, lovely staff, great breakfast. Considering the above it is great value imo"
Château Rhianfa
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is lovely - clean and spacious rooms with the quirks you would expect from an old building (our shower/wetroom was in one of the towers). Staff are courteous and friendly and everything feels luxurious from the comfy beds to the excellent breakfasts and the picturesque gardens."
The Menai Hotel and Bar
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel has everything you need for a night or two away. We were looking for somewhere that would make our morning sailing from Holyhead easy, and for that the team can not faulted. Beds were comfy, breakfast was super and the team were very friendly."
OYO Baytree Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Had a great stay here with my son and dog. The family were really welcoming. The room was great for the price! One thing, a sliding door for the bathroom would top the room off. Would definitely stay again! Thanks."
The Slate
8/10 Good
"Very spacious room which was extremely clean. Large bar and restaurant area where we had a few drinks. We did not have breakfast. Our room was very close to the railway and therefore we had to keep the windows closed to dampen the noise. In the summer heat, the single fan in the room was just about adequate."
Moryn. View of Snowdonia Strait, Anglesey and Menai
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely beautiful property in a wonderful location to visit all that North Wales has to offer. Aled answered all of our questions and gave us some great ideas on places to visit. He made our experience even better. We were able to return “home” every evening to a charming, spotless, beautiful haven. If we are in the area again, we will look to stay here. Thank you!!"
Lovely Victorian House close to the sea in North Wales
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely home on a quiet street only steps away from shops and restaurants. The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room, a large dining room and well appointed kitchen. Upstairs the bedrooms are large and the bathroom is massive. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. There is parking available on the street as well as a space at the back of the house. It was a wonderful house for our family vacation, we would definitely return. There is a wonderful coffee shop, Ruebens, down the street and plenty of restaurants nearby."
