Nice comfortable cabin with a cozy living room, excellent entertainment area downstairs with games, air hockey, pool table and a theatre. Hot tub was a plus to have to relax after a long day. Kitchen had everything we needed. Outside grill and fire pit are connected to the gas line. So no need to worry about filling gas tanks.

Wonderful Time of the Year
We absolutely loved our stay. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our small family and there was so much to do.
The home is extremely clean and was decorated for Christmas. The views from the home are breathtaking. We spent a lot of time downstairs playing pool, games, watching football, and enjoying each other’s company. The home is well stocked! All the dishes and cooking items you need are there. The home is tucked way up in the mountains so recommend bringing your smaller vehicle to travel. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge did not disappoint and both are just a few miles from the home. Highly recommend for your mountain getaway.

Christmas Getaway
The Mountain Memories cabin allowed us to do just that—make cherished memories. We visited Ober Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Roaring Forks Trail. The kids begged to get back to the cabin each day. Everything was as described and it was well furnished with the Christmas decor adding that special touch. You will not regret booking with Jan and Mike!

MAGNIFICENT!
The property exceeded our expectation!! and the owner were amazing, reachable at all times! quick to response all our needs! u dont have to go anywhere to see bears in the wild! they were just around the property! rate 1-10 is the highest, ill say perfect 10! we surely book this again next time! Beautiful home, great location, host was excellent!
Property is exactly as listed. Beautiful home. Property manager was great, she responds to messages very quickly. No issues at all, this property was in excellent condition, very clean has absolutely everything you will need. Highlight of the trip was seeing four bears, one mama and three cubs, right on the road of this property. For anyone that might be concerned about this, don’t be, they wanted nothing to do with us, were just looking for food and ignored us 😁

We enjoyed our stay and had a great Thanksgiving celebration. The cabin was awesome. Just a couple things that could be better: pool sticks- need a short stick due to walls around pool table; floor vent covers not secured.

Bears, bears and more bears!
We were very excited to stay in this house with so much to do. When we arrived, we found mouse droppings in most of the rooms and the theater room had food and drinks spilled in the chairs. The owner responded quickly and had someone come and clean within an hour. Having 3 small children who would be on the floor playing, we vacuumed and mopped the entire house. She refunded our cleaning fee at that time. We enjoyed watching the bears who visited everyday. There was a mama bear with 3 cubs that were adorable to watch. We even had a bear open my car door and get into my console to get to salt and pepper!! Thankfully no damage to my car! The only other thing we needed were more bowls in the kitchen. There was not enough to go around for meals. Overall, we had a great time and felt the owner was responsive to our needs.

Awesome Family Memories
This was our first visit to Tennessee and we had amazing time! The chalet is modern with a rustic decor. Spending quality time together was no problem here! The games, theater, and hot tub kept everyone entertained when we were relaxing in the evening. The rooms were spread out giving everyone privacy and space to rest for the next day.

Quiet home in the mountains
Absolutely loved staying here! The property is quite close to downtown Gatlinburg, but up in the mountains enough that you don't have noise or traffic around you.
The property is wonderful. The views from the two back porches are amazing--you don't get mountain valleys but you do get some mountains tops and amazing sunrises. Watching the sunrise from the hot tub is a must do.
We had a slight plumbing issue while we were there, which was 100% beyond the hosts control, but when we notified her she replied back instantly and worked hard to get a plumber out ASAP. She stayed in contact with us while trying to find a plumber after 7pm on a Friday night when she was notified, until after the plumber left the following morning. I couldn't have asked for a better host response and reaction to an unexpected and unavoidable issue.
I am absolutely looking forward to coming back one year in the spring so we can see the bears!

Gatlinburg Cabin
This cabin was amazing, and the owners were WONDERFUL. It is located very close to the Parkway. We got several food deliveries with no problem. Be ready for several steep inclines headed to it. They gave a few people in our group a little anxiety, because they're so steep and sharp. Theater Room doesn't work well for watching tv/movies. The speakers go in and out. The owners were wonderful with communicating and helping with any issue we had. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting, great location
This was the perfect location to gather with family and friends. There are countless things to do in the area including hiking in Great Smoky Mountains National park and a myriad of family friendly activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house was very clean and comfortable. There were a few minor maintenance things to be addressed, but they did not interfere with the overall positive experience.

Restful time
My family of 4 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed our stay. Saw some black bears walk by, sat in the hot tub to relax and later watched some movies to top off the day in the big movie room. Short distance to Ober Gatlinburg, which we visited. Parked in their parking lot at the top of the mountain and then rode the tram down which dropped us in the heart of Gatlinburg.
