Historic Charm, Fantastic Location

This was a lovely older home that clearly has been loved by a family for several decades. The location is fantastic—steps from the beach and close to the little town center. Our family enjoyed how cozy it was and would definitely return!

Great Winter Getaway

We loved our stay in this sweet cottage. It was very comfortable and well-stocked. Our dog loved going down to the beach every morning. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching/listening to the storm outside. We'll definitely be back!

Comfy and Cozy

This was our 2nd time renting the Salt Water Cottage and it's always feels very cozy and comfortable. We stay with our dog and with plenty of space for the kids to come and visit. We love staying here and will rent again in the future.

Our Gearhart Experience

Loved the house and its many rooms and its historic nature. The location is ideal- in a quiet neighborhood with a trail that goes directly to the beach beginning only 50 yards from the front door.

calming beach trip

This property was cozy and quiet. Very clean. Self care was definitely on the agenda with their beautiful sauna and huge clawfoot tub! I loved the seating areas near the windows. Tons of yummy restaurants nearby with fast delivery. We had a great experience here. Would definitely stay again

Family time

Location is great! Quieter neighborhood, lots of room and lots of little extras ( beach towels, lots of games, books and colouring books for the kids, the sauna was great, …). Only down side was the cleanliness of the place, we had to spend our first day cleaning. We contacted them right away and the offered the next day.

The upstairs bedroom rugs are dirty an unappealing. The cleanliness of the house was poor.

A much needed vacation!

This was our first stay at this property. We were impressed and thrilled with this wonderful beach house. It had a well-supplied kitchen and the knives were sharp, which is a first in our renting experience. It was very clean, well-supplied and plenty of kitchen towels, beach towels, bath towels; privacy, quiet and easy access to the beach. The only issue was it is not completely fenced and we had to keep an eye on our dog. We will be booking this again.

Beautiful home

We had a great stay. It was perfect for the 5 of us, my husband said we should have invited more people. The sauna was a nice way to relax. And it's a short walk to the beach.
