Perfect Dog-Friendly Cozy Beach Getaway

We LOVED staying at the Clay Miller house! It was very clean, extremely well furnished with everything you might need during your stay, the beds were comfortable, the location is great and close to so many things including the beach. This has been our favorite place to stay yet! We would highly recommend this home!

Great hidden beach house

We loved how it was tucked away behind some trees right off the main drag! A short walk to the beach right up our street, overall a great stay

Good house for pups and kids

This was a great place to stay. Close to Seaside, we also walked down Wellington Ave to Little Beach just a block or so away. Would definitely stay here again.

weekend getaway

I wanted a weekend getaway on the Oregon coast and this location was perfect. It was walking distance from the beach and there were plenty of restaurants and shops a short drive away. Wonderful spot, so quiet & peaceful. Made lots of good memories during my short stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay!

This home worked perfectly for our family. Thankfully the sun was out and we were able to enjoy the beautiful yard. We appreciate the dog friendliness and the walk to the beach. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Great place in a great location. Only downside was Vacasa's tight-fisted management - not enough TP and 10 am check-out. But we had a wonderful time.

Gearhart haven

This is our second time here. The house is perfect for us and our dogs. The neighborhood is very quiet. Walking the ridge path to the Pacific Way Bakery for coffee and pastries in the morning. Walking up E Street to the path to the beach is beautiful. Great time.

A wonderful retreat for our Girls weekend

This beach house is simply beautiful and charming. It’s clean, with a foyer entrance, original wood floors and finishes with an inviting open floor plan. A lot of windows, warm furnishings and decor. A few blocks from the beach access and surrounded by beautiful beach homes. The kitchen has simple wood cabinets full of everything you need to cook a fabulous meal and serve with several plate options and a farmhouse kitchen table in the dining room. I could go on and on because I loved it! Lots of room for everyone! I hope to visit again❤️

Family vaca

Upon arrival the house seemed clean but later that day we realized the towels had been put away wet and the dishes put away with food on them. Not the owners fault. This house would be great for a family with small kids.

Seaside vacation

The house was very nice and clean. The only issue I had was my wife and I were in the upstairs bedroom and it got very warm during the night. Also they needed some kind of sun shade over the large window in the bedroom, the sun shines directly onto the bed as soon as it comes up, no chance to sleep in.we ran out of propane for the grill the first night and the manager replaced it first thing in the morning. Overall the house was very nice and a great place to stay for a family vacation.

Nice home and location. Limited use of kitchen.

Home is lovely as well as the location. Unfortunately, we had limited use of the kitchen with a gutted out cooktop hood which dripped brown fluid from it open exposure, the BBQ was disgusting (looked like perhaps a whole pig was cooked in it and not cleaned out), the main bathroom has a bad leak by bathtub with black mold which triggered allergy reactions, and broken recess ceiling lights which dimmed the area as well as inadequate lighting to be able to read.

A totally restful stay

This house offers just what we needed to feel at home in Gearhart. The furniture is comfy and the upstairs bed was so cozy I slept like a baby. I love the Juliette balcony. The décor is minimal but that helps show off the wood interior and construction which is so unique. The only thing I would change would be adding a fenced area for dogs. We ended up buying a rope and letting our dog drag it around the yard to make sure she didn't run into the street. I would also upgrade the TV. Three remotes doesn't seem necessary these days. It was confusing enough that we didn't use it and streamed things on our iPad instead which was fine. I didn't want to leave

Comfortable getaway

Wonderful place!

Very comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. No complaints at all. Will definitely recommend. Lovely architecture, love the master bedroom and look forward to another visit in the future. Fairly close walk to the beach. The house is well equipped, was able to cook dinners easily, even mushroom risotto! The neighborhood is quite nice.

The neighborhood is charming as is the house. The access to the bay and beach are excellent.

Love the area and property. Several lights were out. I texted and was told this would be handled the next day. It never was. The house is old and needs floor repair in downstairs bathroom. The sliding glass door does Not keep all of the want in tub. When I texted about the lights I asked about the amount of toilet paper: 3 rolls for 6 people for 1 week. Was told this was standard. Also, only 3 pods for the dishwasher. For a week. So we had to leave a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Being petty over small things is not customer friendly. It is a charming place and comfortable. Being stingy with daily supplies serves no purpose. I recommend the home despite these small grievances!

Just what we needed!

Beautiful, solace, and local to the beach. We found our beach rental from now on. Hope to be back this fall! Lots of towels and kitchen items. Will bring blankets next trip though to cozy on the couch.
