Great stay! Truly enjoyed the very courteous staff from front desk , room service to breakfast area! Sorry , I Can’t remember the first name of the helpful , sick with flue , front desk guy; he was great, and went an extra mile to make things right! The room is cozy ,well appointed , the satiny sheets were superb. On the other side , the mattress was on the slouchy side and may need rotation or to be updated! Great variety at breakfast! Overall we would come back in a heart beat! The staff makes all the difference!

Starting with the positives, I was emailed a Geneva transport card prior to checking in which was great. I was able to check in early after a long flight from Australia and the location is very convenient to the train station, restaurants and tourist attractions. Unfortunately the room looked a little different to the Expedia images and the bathroom quite small even though I booked the second highest room category. I was travelling solo so was manageable but would be very difficult with 2 people in the room, as there’s a lack of shelving in the bathroom and even floor space around the bed. I had endless issues with housekeeping - not cleaning my room as requested, leaving cleaning clothes on my belongings and knocking on my door when the do not disturb sign was on. The front desk staff were very apologetic. In addition, this is the first hotel I’ve stayed in which didn’t have a full length mirror - quite frustrating!

Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Situated a couple of blocks from the central train station. Close proximity to tour bus station and old town as well. However, lots of activity in and around the adjacent streets to the hotel.

We had the MOST amazing stay at Hotel D, especially because of the staff (especially Teddy and the woman that worked with him). They sent us to the best restaurants, made reservations for us, and were extremely helpful with every aspect of our trip. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely, and the bed extremely comfortable. The only thing I feel bad about, it was SO comfortable and homey, that we forget to leave a tip to the housekeepers, who were equally as wonderful. We will make up for it next time, for sure! Thank you again!

An amazing stay!

Our stay was amazing from the moment we checked in. The hospitality and kindness of the staff was outstanding. Breakfast was amazing all varieties of cereal, teas, coffee from a proper coffee machine, fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, cooked breakfast consisted of sausages, scambled eggs, bacon. Also upon request you can have an omlette. All the breakfast was buffet style. The room was as per the pictures, very comfortable. The bed was amazing. The shower and amenities were amazing, felt just like home.

Love this modern, non-smoking hotel, convenient to Geneva train station. Workout room and breakfast buffet are great as well. Magnifying mirror and heated towel racks in the bathroom are welcome additions.
