“Property was exactly that, a slice of Heaven. Cozy comfy beds and couches, nice place to recharge. Location is great, enjoyed all of Athens, explored the Huntsville attractions, and the Smokey mountains are a beautiful 2 hour drive away for an amazing day out. Property itself is safe and secured, and possibly the best sunrise you’ll ever have the pleasure of being a part of. The land around feels like home and could easily spend an entire day out there by the pond, enjoying all the wildflowers……

“This property was very warm and welcoming. The fenced yard was perfect for our pups. The hosts were very helpful and provided everything we needed and also some great snacks. We would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this home. We had several hiccups in our trip and the host was so great helping us! The house was clean, very nicely decorated. Awesome location on the water. I will say if you are bringing a boat, talk with the owner about bringing it down the drive. It's down a hill with a circle drive in front of the house and pea like gravel. Our big boat on trailer was not easy to get out but we made it happen. There are kayaks to use. 2 big and a youth. They went above and beyond……

“The house was as advertised. The living area was very spacious and was great for my two boys. My only complaint was that the driveway wasn't fit for a boat b/c of the steepness. We had to use 4 wheel drive to pull the boat up the gravel driveway.”

“This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River. On the balcony at night you can hear the coyotes scream and in the early hours of the morning you can hear the turkey's gooble. Very beautiful and very cool. We……

“This BW makes a really nice first impression with a clean, and appealing, first impression. Lobby, and dining area, were given thought and also make a really good first impression. Room was not clean - IT WAS ULTRA CLEAN! Heck, not only did the clock in the room work, it was accurate! Seriously, this location is a solid 5 star and this team should be proud.”
