一次不愉快的住宿!
酒店位置不错的,附近有几家超市。但很多中国旅行团入住,比较嘈杂。酒店设施老旧,隔音差,楼下唱歌一直到凌晨。一切基本用品(如牙膏牙刷拖鞋)都不提供,房间内的瓶装水收费的,Wi-Fi也是充值才能用,只有大堂Wi-Fi免费使用。早餐选择少,味道差。9点到餐厅都基本被扫光了。

Location of the hotel isn't bad. I got sea view(not too big) with cheap price. The hotel only provides basic equipment. No toothbrush, no free WiFi. Ceiling in bathroom has gap, weird. Hotel staffs weren't very helpful, e.g. I need to find taxi myself. The hotel didn't make me feeling comfortable, but the price was just cheap.

Be careful
Hot water isn't hot enough for bathing, small cockroach surrounding rubbish bin, no smile face at reception, doorbell ringing 3 times in the morning even if DND lamp was switched on. Bad sound isolation in room.

出發前曾協調更換日期也獲得同意,沒想到入住當天卻一概不承認,飯店老舊,服務態度也不佳,要個吹風機也沒有,很糟的一次入住經驗!

A hotel that easy access to Red Garden - a place you can try many different local food .. Delicious! Staffs are friendly & helpful; Free Wifi is available at lobby & cafe only; breakfast is ok ... The hotel needs to be cleaned more frequent cos wr saw two cockroach when entered the room, but we didn't complain about it as we stopped at this hotel for one night only ...

難忘經歷
這是我第一次到檳城觀光,選這間酒店是因為朋友介紹,指她位置適中,價錢相宜,朋友說得對。入住當晚,我被前台編派了一間帶海景的房間,面積比同行朋友的城景房細小及殘舊,房內衛生情況亦比較差。惟考慮地點及價錢後,亦勉強能接受。可惜不愉快事件就在上床前發生了,床上只鋪上了一張薄薄的床單,而朋友房間就鋪有正常的冷氣被。向前台反映,得到的答案是所住房間雖屬舊翼,但價錢相同但擁有海景,已比朋友的城景房優勝,如果衛生情況無特別, house keeping 同事已經算履行了職責。如我覺凍,可取用衣櫃內的毛氈,如我仍感到不滿,可於翌日9點後向經理投訴。答案相當「專業」,相信類似投訴應該時有發生。建議訂房時要求翻新過的新翼房間及於取房匙後立即檢查房內情況。

位置在市中心, 頗方便. 酒店中文名是"五洲酒店", 不是"歐陸飯店", 酒店頗舊, 毛巾不衛生, 有點"up" 味, 由於第一晚夜機到檳城, 所以才選擇一間價錢平的酒店過一晚. 要求價錢平的可接受, 但如果要求享受的, 這間絕對不適合.

Good position, situated along Penang Street. Excellent price, more than half of that in Cititel in which I stayed for another two nights. Room was slightly old but clean. Wifi connection was everywhere except frequent disconnection disappointed me.

The Hotel running out of water at night until 12am, we cannot take a shower, pee & etc. When I complained, the staff said it is because the Hotel Fully Occupied thats why running out of water. If we want to pee/poops we need to come at lobby! Lower level have water (we stay at 9th floor) It make me really disappointed. After the water came it is very dirty (yellowish). The TV at my room broken cannot lower the volume (Maintenance came and change the TV) You also can hear noisy from the other room (family with little kids) because in the wardrobe have a door for piping & etc and it connected to side room, so can hear very loud. The room look very old style and outside carpets looks dirty and creepy. Not worth for what i’ve paid 550RM for one night. What i love in only the place near to restaurants and can walk to Padang Kota

FILTHY 80% SMOKING FLOORS HOTEL WORST HOTEL
This is the most terrible hotel experience. The rooms are filthy and all family rooms are SMOKING ONLY. This hotel is falsely advertising as 231 smoke-free guestrooms where instead 80% of their rooms are all SMOKING FLOOR ONLY. ALL FAMILY ROOMS ARE IN SMOKE FLOORS ONLY. I booked a family room by paying extra and the hotel front desk told me ALL FAMILY ROOMS are smoking only. So, I reluctantly ask for a downgrade to single rooms which they say are the only options for non-smoking in the hotel. Only 3 out of 18 floors in the hotel are of single room non-smoking. They then want to CHARGE EXTRA for getting an extra sleeping bed in the downgraded single room. This is ridiculous. I have already paid extra for the family room which they falsely advertised as SMOKE-FREE but clearly they don't care. On top of wanting to charge me more, they also want to take away another paid breakfast. Overall this is the worst hotel experience. Do not stay in this filthy, dark and bad hotel management. No manager on duty. They asked me to wait a few hours for the manager to come to work. Crazy! You are better off going elsewhere.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of positives going for this hotel. I booked this on a whim by looking at a couple of pictures and honestly I wished I had of spent 10 minutes more doing some research on this property. The staff were mostly friendly and the reception / foyer is basically the only modern luxury that the hotel has going for it, once you get off the lift onto your floor the luxury ends there. Now I know that this isn’t a luxury hotel but this was quite poor for what it was. The room was small and basic, and very dated. The bed looked clean and was mostly comfortable, it was a bit hard for my partner, however the sheets were too small so when you slept at night the bottom sheet would unravel and you’d end up sleeping on the mattress which is kind of gross. It was annoying to only have one key card, which meant that when you arrived you’d have to use it to turn the lights / electricity on and this included the small fridge so nothing would keep cold straight away, and when you leave you have to take the card out from the slot meaning the fridge would turn off. This was very annoying. The bathroom was probably the worst part of the room. We had to step down into the bathroom from the bedroom, and it was extremely dated. The bathtub shower combo was very old, and had a gross shower curtain. The shower was barely hot as well, only like warm. The towels were the worst for me, they were so thin & small, and a floormat we assume. No hand towel or face towel.

Hotel.com charged me about Malaysian Ringgit 109 tax and asked me to get the tax refund from Hotel Continental. But Hotel Continental said it was Hotel.com who cahrged me the tax and I should speak to Hetel.com. Please tell me why you charged me the tax. I am a Malaysian and should not have been charged the tax. Please arrange tax refund of Malaysian Ringgit of around 109 to me. Thank you.

Room just ok with 3* standard but I believe can do better. Ie, coffee n drinking water should be on complimentary rather than cgarge far too expensive ie Rm 5 per bottle of 500ml drinking water & Rm7 persachet of coffee. Room cleanliness acceptable, FO staff helpful. To check on their room facilities such as TV socket I believe not working well. It keep switch off while I am watching.
