Gassho Village in Gero Onsen is a collection of 10 traditional grass houses moved from a UNSECO World Heritage site where they would have been flooded by a dam. On the hill overlooking the Gassho Mura is the Saijiki-no-mori, known for its cherry trees and autumn leaves in season. Check out the public hot foot baths on the way to and from the site! Dinner and breakfast options are 6,7pm we requested 7pm just walk up around 6 to look around and realized everything was preset so my food was sitting there an hour before I eat kinda sucks
