"I just gave the stars on the look of this place. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night we had booked this place for. We were stuck on the highway for the whole night because of a bad accident. By the time it cleared it was time to reach our next tour booking of Glacier hike. I’m still waiting if I would get some kind of compensation"

"Amazing!! 5 minutes from Gullfoss. Catch it at sunrise if possible. Geysir is a short drive. Very comfy updated room. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and included in our Expedia booking. Hot tubs on demand. Cold, tasty Icelandic lagers on tap. Quiet at night. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Whole place was spotless. No stairs. More than we expected. Thank you!"

"This is a fantastic place to stay. The views are stunning and the home is very cozy. We even lucked out and saw the Aurora Borealis from the Hot Tub. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend"

"Great property in terms of space, cleanliness, location. Is equipped with necessities. We were lucky to see the northern lights as we arrived!! Although google maps takes you to the next turn, if you arrive when it's dark and can't read the Green Geysir board outside. What we didn't like was that the room temp was set and we could not change it."

"Loved staying here. There are animals onsite. You can even eat dinner with a view of the cows. The onsite restaurant was good. Wouldn’t recommend paying for breakfast though."

"We loved this retreat, it was the last leg of our trip and it was neat to be able to stay in a turf house. Everything there was made locally in Iceland you can tell the owners put a lot of thought in it and the private soak tub for each house was lovely. We got to see the northern lights the service was excellent and the house had a full kitchen and dining table to eat."
