We had such a lovely stay in Ghent at Rooms with a View! This hotel feels absolutely magical - such a beautiful room and the location is exceptional. As the name suggests, the room has a beautiful view of the river, historic buildings and lovely cafes. The owner is such a wonderful host - she made parking easy and always made sure we had what we needed! Breakfast was delicious and the room is set up with everything you need. If you are visiting Ghent, this is the place to stay!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und sehr lecker. Wir können das B&B sehr empfehlen.

Very unusual place. It's old. And the floors creak. But the view out our window was astounding. Also, the breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. And, I really liked the proprietor. I'm really, really glad we stayed there.

This hotel was amazing! Rooms were cute, beds were cozy, breakfast was great. The view was 100% 10/10. Friendly staff. Restaurant below was delicious. Note the stairs are steep and curved if staying in one of the double rooms so request the first floor if you are not comfortable with stairs but don’t let that stop you because this was truly amazing.

Breakfast was awesome!! You get to choose the day before what you want. The hosts were fantastic and very accomodating! The Restaurant was also excellent!! If you want to be in the centre of Ghent, Room with a View is your go too! Also they have a private parking garage available just a short walk away.

Friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived at the parking. Our room (deluxe double room 2) was clean and comfortable. Our friends were in room 3 which had a pitched ceiling. Everything you could want was provided, including water, beer and soft drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine. All these were replenished. The shower room was modern and clean with good water pressure . The spiral staircase is exceptionally steep, particularly the last bit to room 3, which some people may find tricky, especially coming down. The parking is just round the corner in a secure garage. The location is perfect for getting around Ghent. The breakfast was served on the terrace and was fresh and amazing. You need to order what you'd like the day before but they will always bring extra if you ask if you'd like any eggs. Air conditioning units in the rooms were very welcomed.

Staying at Rooms With A View was one of the highlights of our trip to Ghent. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Bie greeted us with such warmth that it immediately set the tone for our stay. We booked the Korenlei Suite, and it exceeded every expectation. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and the canal views were absolutely breathtaking. We spent time just sitting by the window together, watching boats pass and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was another standout. Each morning we enjoyed fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, and cheeses delivered to our room by Bie. It felt indulgent and relaxing. We also had dinner at Korenlei Twee, the on‑site restaurant, and loved the cozy ambiance and delicious Flemish dishes. It was wonderful to have such a great dining option just steps from our room. What truly made our stay special was Bie’s hospitality. We felt cared for in a way that’s rare to find. We would recommend Rooms With A View to any couple looking for comfort, charm, and a truly memorable stay in Ghent.
