"I booked a short getaway to celebrate my graduation, and my husband and I found a paradise.
We arrived to a cute, clean, well-laid out yurt. The TV over the bed was a nice surprise, as was the heating pad on the mattress - unnecessary in the summer, but great for winter. The bed was very comfortable, and the ac was easy to set.
The back holds a beautiful outdoor dining area, clearly well kept, with a large propane BBQ, fire table, and hot tub. We spent many hours over our visit out there, tossing around ideas to bring that ambience to our own home - thank you for the inspiration!
Plenty of firewood was stacked beside the firepit. While we could see the lights from the adjacent cabin, we had to strain to hear them - at no point did their presence interfere with our enjoyment. Our private bathroom area was pristine, with great smelling products and a double headed shower.
Our only direct interaction with our hosts occurred when our water dispenser ran out - a new jug came within an hour of me messaging; I'm sure if I had called instead of emailing it would have come faster. The exchange was quick and polite, and we felt like our space and privacy was well respected. The only noise we heard was the dog, who barked briefly when the other guests arrived as a dog does, and a grumpy squirrel who ignored quiet hours.
I am hesitant to leave 5 stars because I am greedy and don't want to share my new found favourite place. However, I can't bring myself to penalize such amazing hosts!"
