Totally recommended. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious with a nice balcony and renewed bathroom. Rooms are always clean. The staff is super friendly! Swimming pool is in the sun all day and also very clean. Enough sunbeds. Small minor points are the concise breakfast and bad WiFi connection, but that didn’t make our stay less good.

Vue superbe sur la mer et sur sa majesté l’Etna. Accueil superbe avec une Directrice très gentille. Place de parking idéale. La plage à moins de 200 m. Des commerces ouverts jusqu’à 20h30. Quartier très sympa.

Prima waar voor je geld!

2 nachten door gebracht, prima hotel, supervriendelijke, lieve mensen die gebrekkig Engels spreken, hotel brandschoon wel wat gehorig. Bevindt zich in een wat rommelige wijk zoals er heel erg veel zijn op Sicilië maar alle bussen voor dagtrips en een hop on hop off bus beginnen op 100 meter van het hotel (Godfather, Etna etc etc)

Redelijk hotel in een mindere buurt.

Redelijk hotel. Vriendelijk personeel, maar een behoorlijk deel van het personeel spreekt geen Engels. Kamers prima met dagelijks schoonmaak. Bedden zijn ronduit slecht . De veren drukken door het matras. Ontbijt is zeer eenvoudig. Elke dag hetzelfde en geen bruin brood. Prima airco op de kamer. Houd rekening met 10 dagen toeristenbelasting en 10 euro extra betalen als je de koelkast met eigen spullen gebruikt. De kamers zijn bovendien erg gehorig.

The Alexander - Good value for money

We chose this hotel because we were driving and knew about the difficulties (and expense) of parking in nearby Taormina. The Alexander is a 15 minute walk to the main beach at Gardiano Naxos but there are nice beaches, restaurants, bars and amenities within a short walk from the hotel. There are frequent buses to Taormina if you are without a car. If you have a car don't miss out on a trip to Etna Nord for spectacular views of the Mountain. We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is in a very quiet area surrounded by private holiday apartments. The room was clean and more than adequate as was the breakfast. The bonus was the lady owner who spoke good English and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Thanks to her we enjoyed our stay.

Brilliant start to our visit to Sicily

This hotel overlooks the sea and was very easy to find, arriving at 10pm at night from the airport, by bus. It felt very safe walking in the streets. It was exactly as described in other reviews - beautiful décor, spacious, quiet, comfortable bed, lovely coffees and cakes, use of the fridge, friendly owner who can speak French and English and who takes the time to explain where to go in Catania. He recommended the fish market and this was an eye opener: no refrigeration and yet no smell, I have never seen fish looking so fresh and so many varieties. We had fish every day and did not tire of it. I would also recommend the street markets for fresh fruit: so cheap and so tasty!

The management were very helpful and pleasant. It was near the beach and sea, and to good restaurants and communications. We found the breakfast good and plenty of it, likewise the coffee. If we visit Giardini Naxos again we would stay at the Hotel Alexander.

Ottimo hotel per una breve vacanza in Sicilia al mare e per chi viaggia per congressi, molto vicino ad una tranquilla spiaggia libera, facilmente raggiungibile grazie alla linea che collega l'aeroporto di Catania a Taormina, personale gentile e disponibile.
