"Don't short yourself by staying only 1 or 2 days. This awsone hotel and its location needs a week! We found it ti be excellent in every way and it was our hub to drive to other "Must do" places. Our roon had the best view of the setting sun on the lake. Strandhotel really made our wedding anniversary trip fantastic!"

"My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Alpenrose! It was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip. Not only was the property breathtaking but the staff and breakfast couldn’t have been better. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, there were plenty options for breakfast, and the room was spacious with a stunning view. Upon check out they provided us with a little jar of jam to take home with us, I couldn’t recommend this stay more!"

"We enjoyed our stay and very impressed with how clean it was. The location was excellent in the town of Brienz. The town was nice and the lake beautiful. Parking was convenient and our host cordial. Would highly recommend."

"Beautiful hotel by lake Brienz. Easy to find as it is along the road. Really enjoyed our stay and wished we had 1 more night to soak in the view. Its stunning view of lake Brienz. The hotel is equipped with all necessities you need for a short stay. I would highly recommend it to friends and family."

"Great location, very convenient for public transit. Facility is clean. Continental breakfast was ok, with shorter hours. We travelled during a heat wave, having AC or additional fans would have been great."

"The home was clean and did a few views of the lake through some small windows. The picture of there Hot tub situated on a what looks like a gravel terrace is completely false. We never even stepped into the tub (it was clean) because it sits low on a terraced yard and when you stood at the hot tub you could not even see the lake. It was actually behind the RR tracks which were not shown in the picture. We enjoyed our stay in Interlaken and exploring al the spectacular beauty but the property is definitely NOT as described. Again, a nice place but not as described which made it expensive for what we got."

"The location is amazing! We were so happy to get away from crowded spaces part way through our vacation. The property is located on a small ski resort and as suggested by the host, it would be best to arrive during daylight hours. The drive up the hill is narrow at times and winding but manageable. The property is located near some great hiking trails and really close to a cute restaurant that has the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had. The hosts were wonderful and really attentive. The only negative was that the space was a bit small for 3 adults but we would stay here again. I already miss having my morning coffee outside in the quiet looking at the mountains."
