"Kokomo Resort sits right on the shore as you approach Gili Gede. The staff were ready and waiting at the jetty as we arrived and gave us some cool towels and a warm welcome.
Check in was swift and we were shown to our villa immediately. The villa was spotless and quite large with an excellent living/dining area, comfortable seats, TV, hot & cold filtered water dispenser and a fridge.
The pool and sun area were excellent and also spotlessly clean. The pool is totally private and a great way to cool off in the heat.
The bedroom has plenty of storage as well as an enormous comfortable bed. This room has AC which is essential for me.
The bathroom is fully outside but private. It could do with a little TLC as some of the tile edges were broken. Not a problem for us but may be an issue for younger folks. The rain shower had decent pressure though it was salt water. I don't mind this but my partner wasn't fussed.
Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the ocean and was a choice of dishes. All the food was well prepared and plentiful. Lombok coffee was excellent. We had our evening meals a couple of times at the esort and the food was delicious.
The staff are superb and really helpful. Every one that we spoke to had a smile and recommendations for things to do or see.
Also staff can help arrange activities like fishing, snorkeling etc."
