“The property was very comfortable and in a fantastic location for walking. It stayed cool during the very hot weather. The only problem was that we couldn’t get the car charger to work and this was one of our reasons for booking the property. There were no instructions for it.”

“Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. “Perfect stay for our holiday, great location for accessing both pennines and dales. House was great, really well kitted out and comfortable. Host was amazing, perfect comms, and immediate replies when we contacted her. Would happily recommend, and stay again if we return to the area.”

“We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.”

“Great location and lovely cottage. Very comfortable. It has been perfect for my needs. If I could suggest any improvement, it would be to change the upstairs bathroom matting as it’s looking discoloured and dirty. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will definitely be back ”

“Really comfortable and big enough that my whole family could sleep comfortably.”
