Incroyable!

If you have a family celebration coming up with a wide range of ages book Gîte de Ginestet! I have never stayed anywhere so well equipped and with so much entertainment supplied! Kitchen: a caterer’s dream, grounds beautifully littered with small groups of seating for people to ‘escape’ the big crowds, sporting equipment galore and children’s entertainment to suit every age, not to mention the billiards and table football

Multi Generational Family Holiday

The property was incredible, the location was perfect as it was close to Bergerac and yet rural. The local bakery knew us by the end of our holiday. A perfect way to start the day by walking to the bakery to collect breakfast and the fresh bread for the day. We had family in their 80s and a nephew who is 11 and the house was so well suited for us all .The house was so well equipped for everyone. The younger family members spent a night at the local bar and pizzeria whilst the other members spent the evening in Bergerac at a restaurant recommended by the owners. Brilliant walking and running routes directly from the house and superb canoeing adventure a short drive away, also recommended by the owners. We had a fantastic time playing the Treasure Chest Escape Game , this was a highlight of the holiday, great fun . We had a wonderful family holiday Thank you Jean-Louis and Marie-Laure and Karen x

Fantastic

We had a wonderful holiday in this fantastic house. Pool is great, in lovely grounds with beautiful views of surrounding countryside. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works well. Owners are friendly and helpful but unintrusive. The boulangerie within walking distance is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Amazing house and gardens

Our family - 10 adults and 7 children - 18 months to 8 years, stayed for 1 week at the end of May to 3 June. Our hosts Marie Laure, Jean Louis and their daughter, Karen, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The children loved the pool and the grounds and the facilities there. We all loved the house and were sad to leave. Our hosts were there if you needed them. Would highly recommend the house and all it has to offer. Merci beaucoup to Marie Laure, Jean Louis and Karen

Wonderful place for a special family gathering

We spent two weeks at Le Grand Gîte de Ginestet for my Mum’s 70th and loved every minute. The owners were very kind and friendly, always available for any queries. They had even undertaken building work prior to our stay to enable our disabled daughter to better access the bathroom and shower. We were so touched that so much effort was made in advance of our arrival. Beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds, beautiful views. Our children were like the Famous Five, having adventures. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely. The location was also good, boulangerie at 100m, supermarket, 15min by car. Merci Marie-Laure et Jean-Louis!

Charmantes vacances à Ginestet

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Ginestet. Cette maison est à la fois très grande mais également très cosy. Elle offre la possibilité à chacun en fonction de ses propres goûts de trouver son havre de paix et son espace de jeux ou de repos. Pleasant and relaxing stay

Location excellent, a totally relaxing and chilled stay and ideal for the infants in the group. Plenty of activities for the adults too. The fascinating accommodation was absolutely perfect for our needs and the 'pool boy' was a font of all local knowledge. Hector and Missy (dogs) also enjoyed the break. Dans un très beau cadre, le gîte (ancienne propriété viticole) composée de 2 bâtiments) est très agréable et fonctionnel et, propose de nombreuses activités (piscine, ping-pong, billard, baby-foot, fléchette, terrains de foot/badminton et volley) et différents lieux de repos (terrasses et structures sous de magnifiques tilleuls). A notre disposition, barbecue et plancha à proximité de la piscine. Les 6 réfrigérateurs et les 2 lave-vaisselle ont été appréciables pour notre groupe de 17 personnes. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, disponibles et à l'écoute. Ils nous ont orienté vers de bons commerçants (Boucherie/Traiteur LAZINIERE et boulangerie BOURGAIN). En synthèse, un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer que nous recommandons vivement !

Séjour tout simplement parfait !

Grands amateurs de belles résidences avec du charme et une histoire nous avons été comblés par notre séjour dans cette splendide propriété. Tout y est pensé pour le confort des hôtes. Combinant agréablement les grands espaces où nous pouvions nous retrouver tous ensemble avec des ilôts de sérénité disposés avec goûts, chacun est reparti enchanté de cette belle propriété. Les enfants comme les grands ont particulièrement appréciés les équipements de loisirs présents sur place. Nos hôtes ont été particulièrement attentif à notre confort et se sont montrés d'une rare disponibilité. Nous recommandons chaudement ce beau domaine.

Delightful Property in the Dordogne

A magnificent property in a wonderful location, very well equipped with plenty of games for the family. The Chateau is huge with plenty of space for everybody, with seating provided all around the vast grounds. The pool is delightful and deep enough to satisfy the swimmers! The boulangerie nearby proved very popular. Marie Laure and Jean-Louis were perfect hosts and could not help enough , even arranging daily access to a tennis court during our stay . Highly recommended!
