「We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). 「We loved our stay at Gion Ryokan! The staff were so lovely, the bed pads were comfortable, and we enjoyed having access to a full kitchen. The location is amazing- right in the beautiful old district and just down the street from multiple temples and shrines! Short walk to amazing food options too!」

「因為我們抵達時間遠早於check-in時間，本只是想打電話詢問能不能把行李寄放一樓，對方同意但因為這間並沒有櫃檯所以無法幫我們保證行李安全，我們也表示了解，但沒想到抵達時，打掃的小姐跟我們說她剛剛趕緊把房間打掃好了，就讓我們提前check-in了！這裡讓我們不得不佩服日本人的服務精神！ 地點雖然離電車或巴士一段路程，但周遭風景非常的棒，剛好滿滿的櫻花配上小橋與河水，隨便我們拍好拍滿。透過房間的窗戶也能直接觀賞櫻花！窗戶也設計得很有格調，讓人覺得這就是讓人觀賞窗外風景用的窗戶！ 另外桌上擺了一本厚厚的多語言介紹書。除了介紹各種京都經典觀光景點的交通方法外，還介紹了房內各種電器使用方法。非常的用心又便利。 要說唯一的缺點是沒有電梯，如果攜帶笨重的行李會不太方便，但還好這棟最高也只有3樓。整體來說，非常滿意！空間大、風景美、服務好！」
