Decor gives you a sense of Albania with dominant wood design as well as modern features. Reception was more of a host than a staff member as he accompanies you to your room to make sure that everything is in order and if you have any questions. “We were so impressed with this establishment! The woman at the desk was incredibly helpful, even helping us figure out how to make space for everything in our room. We paid for the laundry service and got it back the next morning, all folded and neat for us. She also let us park out front and keep our parking place several hours after we had checked out so that we could tour the Gjirokaster castle. “It was a privilege to stay in the old town next to the castle in Gjirokaster. High above the modern city, next to castle and the old bazaar, it was not only convenient but an experience of a life from another time. Ever wonder what it’s like living way up on the hill in the castle? Last night residing in the old town, adjoining the castle, was that experience. Too high for any city lights to penetrate, it was dark skies. Only the stars and a sliver of the moon. No sound. Not traffic,……

The hotel was also located just steps away from the main shopping and restaurant area of the old town. I highly recommend staying here, and even more recommend choosing the room with the balcony, which was perfect for a cool evening. Maybe bring a sleep mask for that room as the patio door doesn't have blackout curtains and it gets very bright very early.”

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt und alles ist fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. Wir hatten etwas Schwierigkeiten das Parkhaus zu finden, aber der junge Mann vom Hotel hat uns persönlich dorthin gebracht und alles hat reibungslos geklappt. ”
