「This was an awesome place to stay in Gladwin, right on the water of Lake Lancer. We plan an ice fishing trip each year with work colleges and this is one of the best layouts we have seen for sleeping 13 people, hanging out in the common area and playing games in the dinner room, proximity to the water, and close to a few more lakes in the area that are good for fishing, there is also a trailhead about 20 min to the west that leads up to Houghton Lake area. 「The large log cabin home is located on a small lake southeast of Houghton Lake. It's in an area of nice homes located along the west side of East Twin Lake. The road is paved where the homes are, but are gravel getting to the area. We enjoyed watching the sunrises from the main deck and liked the Michigan shaped adirondack chairs. 「Had a great time near trails」

「I’m a hiker so this location was perfect. My friend and I drove about 3-5 miles down the road until we found a parking spot and took off into the Au Sable forest and hiked for hours with our dogs. The home is cozy with great views and all of the basics for a great stay. Highly recommend.」

「This is the second time we've stayed at this cabin and this time waa even better than the first time we stayed there. I'll say we've stayed at a few different places through the years and this is one of the best places we've stayed at. We can't wait until next year to come around so we can stay there again. The place has everything you could ask for stocked in it. The bedding is super clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a nice getaway I would highly recommend it.」

「Four friends and I stayed here for a Bachelorette Getaway for the bride. It was very clean and spacious. There was various essentials, entertainment and things to do in the local area on hand which is always appreciated. We absolutely loved the amenities in the yard as well, and enjoyed being in such a stunning location. We loved our stay! We all wished it could have been a bit longer. The owner was very nice, too.
