The property was well maintained and the view of the mountains was amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the patio looking at the sunset. Great location, near a lot of hiking trails and parks. One thing to be mindful of is that while the property accommodates 8 people as listed, it only provides parking for one car and the hot water tank may not be adequately sized for 8 people. This is not a major issue, but it’s useful to be aware of in advance.

Amazing views

We stayed at Chalet in the Sky with two couples and a teenager. We had a great experience. It's a beautiful, well equipped and quiet space, the views of the White Mountains (and Mount Washington!) are truly amazing from the private deck and as described, and the location is close to all kinds of hiking trails, which is what we were after. Close to shopping and restaurants. Communication with the hosts was very quick and efficient. Fantastic home base for those wanting a private experience with amazing views. If you have more than one car, parking behind the Grants Shop'n Save parking area was not an issue (Storyland does not allow overnight parking).

Chalet in the Sky was beautiful

My family stayed at the Chalet in the Sky for 2 days during our recent Christmas vacation. The place was beautiful and very clean. The owners did an excellent job updating the space. We only got to enjoy the view from the patio for a brief time as it got dark when we arrived and the rest of the time there was too much fog. The mountain view was spactacular and under different circumstances would have spent more time enjoying the view. Mike was exceptionally responsive and took care of all my questions and requests immediately which we appreciated. The location is great as there is a grocery store and multiple restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet in the Sky.

Three generations-Story Land

It was a wonderful weekend away. From start to finish- the chalet was just as beautiful as it was outside, the views were breathtaking. A cozy spot in the mountainside just minutes from Story Land. The communication was fast and clear( thank you) From the cozy blankets to the stocked coffee bar, the details to make this a weekend get away for all ages was great! Will definitely be rebooking next year when we visit story land again!
