「The cabin was very clean and well appointed. My 2 grandchildren, 7 and 9, loved 'their room' on the lower level. They also enjoyed the foosball table and ping pong (although, bring your own ping pong paddles and balls). There were enough kitchen plugins to accommodate our Thanksgiving dinner appliances. The house is located on a quite street away from all neighbors and is all wooded in the back. Over all it was most enjoyable!」

「You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!」

「Check in was a breeze, we had an issue with parking but it was taken care of with in minutes. The loft offered a lot of open area for my son to crawl around. Nothing was terribly far, we were able to walk to several restaurants. Only complaint was the traffic at night was loud.」

I have to brag about the breakfast because I’ve been to several hotels that offer breakfast…everything was fresh and delicious. 「We liked the property and detailed info getting there. We encountered not one person on property until the next morning when going to the breakfast room. 「Stayed for the weekend during Nelsonville Music Festival. Cozy set-up. Fire pit, hot tub, hammock posts all made for a relaxing stay. Just make sure that when you Google or Waze directions, you search for "Hidden Gem Cabins"... If you only enter the address, Google may take you 1/2 mile or so down the road. Property manager helped get us back on track. If you're going to be in and out, I recommend downloading an offline map of the area since service can be spotty (service at the cabin was good).」
