A great home away from home

My family and our dog had the pleasure of visiting for a week. This place was so comfy! From the beds to the couches. We all had plenty of space to gather. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to prepare and enjoy meals. The deck area has an amazing view of the ocean. Overall we were very pleased with the Flip Flop Inn!

Very Enjoyable Stay!

First time Vrbo user, very pleased with all aspects of this property. Lovely kitchen, my bed was comfortable, everything worked well, the property manager was prompt and very helpful. We had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend. In fact, we've talked about coming back next year and staying in the same location! Gold Beach is a sweet little community, very relaxing stay there. The coastline is gorgeous!

Nice house

House in general worked out well for us. A few of the dimmer knobs for light s or fans were missing as well as a couple of key window screens but all in all the house was pretty good. Kitchen was very well equipped, all the bed reports were comfortable. Had an enjoyable stay for four adults and four kids.

convenient location

The house was very clean looks better in person then in pictures. lots of storage and room for everyone to be comfortable.. The kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook. nice views of the ocean. My only complaint is there is only one t.v in the living room one more in the loft area would be nice.

Family trip

Plenty of seating and sleeping accommodations for our large family gathering. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely laid out for us to cook and serve. living room was great for all of us to sit and play games. The kids had a nice walk to the beach which is beautiful. My only suggestion is to have a door on the main bedroom bathroom. We made it work. We enjoyed our weekend stay very much!

Enjoyable stay in a great location

This house was just right for my family. Check-in was easy and the host, Aimee, was responsive to my questions. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The furniture was outdated, however, it was very comfortable. I enjoy having windows open as I like a breeze in the house, however, very few windows had screens on them. I would recommend this house, especially for groups.

Big house

We were 8 and had plenty of room. 6 king size beds 2 1/2 bath. Large kitchen and dinner table for 10. You can see the beach but it is a long walk. We are from the east coast and had to adjust to a cool, very windy beach but we had fun hunting for star fish and crabs.

Wedding Weekend in Gold Beach.

This house does accommodate a large group (6-12) fairly well. Lots of room and good gathering areas. However, there is a lot of “stuff” everywhere. Too many couches and chairs in the living room. People stumble around. The place need some TLC. Outdated and minor repairs need throughout the whole house. Lawn chairs around a formal dinning room table. Is odd. Most of towel rods are falling out of the wall. All the fan switch knobs are missing. Refrigerator handle is busted off. Three windows are broken. Just to mention a few things. Hot tub is in need of service and cleaning. No actual view of the water unless you go upstairs and stand in the corner window. A little shrub and tree trimming would give an incredible view from the main floor deck and upstairs If monies where put back into the place for updates and repairs , it would be a great price. As it sits now, this place is over priced by 50%.

For the most part, the stay was good. My husband wasn't happy with windows not being able to open for cross ventilation and doors that had signs on them to please not open. The house was clean and had plenty of room to spread out.

The Flip Flop house was perfect for our family to be together.

We rented the Flip Flop house to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was very roomy and had that welcoming feeling. The kids loved the hot tub. We had meals together for every meal and the kitchen table was perfect for gathering.

uncomfortable setting

The property was clean and beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the ocean. Unfortunately, we were not aware that the host lived on sight and in the garage bottom floor of the 3 story house. When we checked in at 5 pm, the host (who I thought was the cleaning lady) was not ready for us but stated that because it was 5 pm we can check in--i did state that we had groceries to put in the refrigerator). the initial contact was awkward and uncomfortable because of the lack of disclosure of the host living in the property. We had 3 small children and the host complained of the noise level , which was within the time frame well before 10 pm--we decided to leave after the host told us to "control our chidlren" . We felt it would be better to leave the premises and chose to drive home only staying for one night.
