Very nice area and property. Lovely home right on the beach. .More attention to detail or housekeeping is needed. When we arrived the dishwasher had not been emptied, there were no extra trash bags, only one in the bin, and no dish towels anywhere. Also there was no body wash or shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms. That would have been nice to know ahead of time.

1. Beware if you have small children. The entire house is covered in glass, porcelain, old antique breakable things. There is a big standing clock and a large wooden cabinet with glass windows full of glass not attached to the wall which posses a falling risk.If your just staying with adults this isn't a problem. 2. 2 of the 3 toilets had gross old poop stuck to the bowls 3. Majority of the cook ware is rusted and unusable.4. The pull out bed in the living room was disgusting, the mattress has blood stains and it was full of dirt, sand, rocks trash etc.Extra pillows had giant yellow stains. 5. If you'd like to maintain a clean house while you stay there is no cleaning spray.

We come every year.

Usually stay across the street but had extra guests so we got this one and the mermaid one. Both are great. This area south of gold beach is my favorite spot on the coast. Semi private beach, close to town. It’s just a very cool place.

Loved the ocean front view as you walk in; kitchen was well stocked; house had a lot of amenities; nice deck to sit on and watch sunsets/sunrises over the ocean

Location was great, the view was great and access to the beach was not far from the property. Having a garage to shelter the car was really wonderful too. However, the property needs thorough cleaning. Floors were dirty and needed scrubbing. Just sweeping didn't help. And carpets needed vacuuming and good cleaning too. Kitchen counters were also dirty and had sticky spots. There were dishes still in the dishwasher and laundry in both the washer and dryer. I don't mind picking up after myself but don't care to clean up after other guests. This seems to be a common theme when reading the guest book as others this summer had the same experience. The mattress in the main bedroom sinks and squeaks on the side next to the windows. Feels like you are rolling off. It is a nice property but needs a little TLC.

Nice location and private neighborhood. House was a little less than idea as far as cleanliness....carpets could use a cleaning and the whole place a deep clean. On the surface though, it was clean.

Master bedroom is good size with comfortable king bed and terrace (no chairs) and no window shade for the west facing window. Second bedroom is small, comfortable queen bed and no view except the wall of the adjacent condo. Both bedrooms have a private bath. We were two couples who split the costs and we gave money back to the couple in the small bedroom, as splitting the costs did not seem fair. Condo is very close to a great, walkable beach. Suggestions: get a shade for the master bedroom, fix leak of the kitchen faucet, indicate where to find instructions for the TVs, fix squeak of dryer, have soap for powder room. We would stay there again and recommend it.

The access code to the key box was not correct, but repeated in all correspondence!!! But other than that snafu there were no issues! Helpful hints—-Maybe leave an extra garage bag or 2! Upstairs deck chairs are cracked and the stairwell lights need replaced. Upstairs guest bath drains too slow. Directions on how to manage trash and recycling would be helpful! We really loved our stay!

We smelled new paint smell when we arrive until we leave the smell is strong, They should declare this on the website. which my nose start to have sinus issues after I stay here for couple days, and the window is very dirty, there is mold all over the window slide. When we turn on the heater there is mold smell also.

Needs attention

Broken storm door on entering,broken sliding door latch, gas grill with pieces falling off and empty propane tank, thick dust in upstairs sitting area, knives in holder dirty, second bedroom queen bed uncomfortable, washcloths like rags, moldy smell on entering unit. Ice maker and freezer unpleasant smelling. King suite sink clogged, carpeting filthy and buckled. Not recommended, even though oceanfront.

Good, Bad and Ugly!

The property is amazing, the porch to ocean is amazing really appreciated the "waterproof" roof. We were really disappointed saturday planing on watching college football dish TV but.... didn't work! The receiver part of the satellite was hanging by a very small piece of rusty metal the guys were afraid the wind would know it loose so they dug bungee cords from our cars and tide it up, didn't want someone sitting on the porch to get hit in the head. They got wet and we got NO football. The fireplace definitely needs instructions for control panel we tried google it got as far as turning off child lock but never got it to light, but the fan would come on and run and run and run no way to turn off. Guest book mentioned others had the same problem in the past. There was no dishwasher soap and wet dishes in it, we just washed dishes by hand. No laundry soap to start load of towels when leaving. Hope you purchase some and are just washing things without soap????? Beds comfortable but bedding is really cheap, and blankets have seams unraveling. Looks like for sale so maybe owner doesn't care. I would stay again just because of location and porch.

Right on the ocean!

The condo is very comfortable and the outside decks perfect for looking at the surf. Our only problem- most of the days here we could only HEAR the waves because the fog was so thick. The two days the sun broke through were spectacular!

Lovely View of the Ocean

I chose this property for the lovely view of the ocean and beach from the patio. My mom was with me and she is not able to get down to the beach anymore and I wanted her to be able to enjoy and see the ocean. This was perfect! The gas fireplace was cozy. It was a lovely birthday weekend for my mom!

Amazing view and lovely home

The view was incredible and quick access to the beach. Very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
