“I really enjoyed my stay here and will absolutely come back the next time I visit Golden. It was a great value, I found it very comfortable, and I loved the view of the river and the ski resort from my room. Lodge + Lantern is a really neat old lodge that's in the process of being renovated. Some things in the hotel are new and modern (furniture, mattresses [very comfy], TVs), and some things are old and look a bit out of place (namely the carpet), but everything in my room worked perfectly. “The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”
