"We had a nice stay at Theo Hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, which comfortably slept 6 people and had its own pool. Customer service was top notch and the staff was very accommodating and caring. Giannis was really nice to me and my family and made sure we were taken care of at breakfast. "Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with lovely quality furnishings. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. All the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. Pool area is lovely with plenty of beds, connected to the beach with use of the hotels sunbeds. Food at the pool bar is lovely. We booked a garden view room which had the worst view of any hotel I have stayed in, roof view with a few plants on it and rotten windows, we didn’t use the balcony once. We had room 317, so if you can avoid that room, I presume 316 and 318 had the same awful view. I don’t think all the garden room views were as bad as ours. It didn’t spoil our holiday in this lovely hotel but was a bit disappointing 😢 The location is great, in a relatively quiet area with a 10 minute walk to platanius where it is a bit livelier. "The place was great. The people at the front desk, bell staff and housekeeping were the best and most helpful. Our stay was near the end of the season so the restaurant was understaffed and a little slow. On the other hand there are so many great places to eat within short walking distance it didn't really matter. Highly recommended. Next time I will split time between here and old Chania."
"Lights were too dimmed so it was dark in the room, no coffee or tea in the room, notes about lowering or turning the AC when you were not in the room were everywhere, towels were looking cheap, the beach towels were very old , we were only allowed to change them 3 times in 10 days trip and the bathroom look really dated with no fan. The trash in the kitchen was so tiny Breakfast menu was ok, we just thought it would be more options vs the same menu every day. Also we rented a car through the hotel and we didn’t receive what was promised to us. The car was very dated 2001 model and overpriced. We returned it the second day and rented something else 2024 model for a cheaper price.
