"Very nice and quaint hotel. Nice rooms and knowledgeable staff. The hotel’s Key Card System did NOT work though. Staff said Management was aware of the issue but didn’t care. Had to use key card to go up or down the elevator or, walk all the way around the hotel. Sometimes key card would work in elevator but not on room door. Extremely annoying to have to get new/reprogrammed keys several times a day; sometimes after getting all the way to your room and denied access. Then you find there’s a line of 5 or 6 people at the Desk. According to the Desk Staff, key cards were prone to being de-magnetized by just about anything. Gold Miner also has inadequate parking and very few spaces for Disabled Driver’s."

"This was our second time staying here, we came out for my husband's disc colf tournament. I loved it even more this time around. The happy hour is sooo nice, snacks drinks so great. Breakfast was great. Our room was so cute. It was just my husband and myself perfect space for 2. We were really bummed the hot tub wasn't opened, but they have a sauna we used. Thanks for having us. We will be back."

"Very nice room. Convenient location and nice staff. Id definitely stay here again if there any rooms with a tub. Shower was nice and clean, but I need a tub to soak after a long day of hiking in the woods."

"Breakfast eggs were very dry and barely warm, sausages were also dry. Coffee was as good as paint remover. Beds seem to be hard every stay here. "

"This Bed and Breakfast was truly a unique experience. It’s an old mid 1800s Victorian house that’s been renovated and well preserved for guests. The bathrooms were very new and nicely remodeled. The bedrooms had beautiful collections of antiques decor with modern flares like TV and electric fireplace. The dining room’s decor was eclectic and neat. Breakfast was yummy and the owner takes time to make it feel special. Really neat grounds right on the river. Lodging style vary which is unique for 1 property; inside the house, a cottage, and a yurt! We stayed in the grand suite, which was two rooms, the empire and the quartz rooms with conjoined a door in between. We had a balcony overlooking the river and gardens. The owner is off property so we never met her, check in and out is hands off, but just a phone call away if you need her and she can be there if needed. Had a 4 year old with us, and it definitely wasn't child proofed so we had to make sure all the antiques were out of reach but we made it work. Our daughter was so enthralled by all the things to look at. Definitely worth the stay if you appreciate vintage flare."

"I had been wanting to stay at The Pines Inn and Cottages for some time, so I worried my expectations may be inflated - but I moved my bags in and never wanted to leave. 🌷 There are so many room details that make it easy to be away from home, the bed is so S-O-F-T, and the grounds are magic waiting to happen. It was lovely in early spring, but I can imagine what an amazing place the Inn grounds become later in the year. I cannot wait to reurn. 🍃"
