"The pool was nice and allowed my kid to burn off some nighttime energy so thankful for that! but there is no hottub like I thought. I look in all the nooks and crannies in a hotel room when entering, upon arrival it was a bit dirty around frames. But there was no bugs. The breakfast had eggs (contains milk powder so not dairyfree) and biscuits n gravy along with some other items. Convient location and nice staff. I would stay there again."

"A perfect getaway, was shockingly quiet, and easy to get to, it gave a camping vibe, we had a blast kayaking around the lake and listening to the wildlife, the deer were everywhere. Used the wood fire place Every night."

"Glad we stayed here on our overnight stop. The front desk staffer was so friendly and accommodating with a few last-minute items we needed help with. The room was nice, clean, and the bed/bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had several tasty items and some featured lactose-free and sugar-free items which two in our party needed so that was an added bonus we weren’t expecting."

"As we drove up to the property we could see its beauty. The log cabin, the pond and the surrounding area was beautiful. The inside of the cabin was very nice. The place was clean. It is a great place for a large party to stay at. When we entered the cabin and unpacked we looked outside the kitchen window and saw a large doe standing up from the pond. The next morning we saw three deer in the morning across the pond. There are 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. Some of the beds were very tall. One of our party could not get into the bed. The other rooms were taken which some of them had lower to the ground beds. The kitchen was well stocked for your cooking needs. It was nice having a Keurig and regular coffee pot. The one problem we had was we had some roaches in the kitchen. They were under the Keurig and the toaster and behind the counter top. I mentioned this to the owner. She said she was sorry we had encountered this problem and she hadn't had any reports before. It was on the weekend so there was nobody to contact to look at it. The list of amenities said there was soap and shampoo provided but we couldn't find any. We did not contact the owner as we brought some with us. Other than those two things everything was great. It was nice feeding the fish in the pond watching them come to the surface. We had a fire going in the fire pit. There was plenty of space in the cabin. There are games provided if you so choose."

"Lovely property for a weekend away. Clean and nice rooms (though not sound proof, so light sleepers beware or get a cottage). Wish there were food options on site, but found great options about 15 minutes away in Hermann. Would definitely visit again!"
