「Very charming and well maintained」

「We stayed 4 nights in "the annex" of The Nags Head while attending the Goodwood Revival in Sept. Although the price was crazy expensive at £450 per night for a basic hotel room and breakfast, at the time we booked we couldn't find anything cheaper that was as close to the train and bus station. (It's an easy walk through the historic center, past inviting shops and restaurants.) The "annex" rooms are around the corner from the main in and pub, and the separation was no problem. 「Stayed in their twin room, which was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a full bath and shower space. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We also ate at the pub restaurant and very much enjoyed the food. Big portions! It has convenient parking around the back of the pub which was a bonus.
