Inside room, no view. Good location to all tourist attractions, good public transportation all around but didn't use them. Breakfast is good quality. Weather wasn't helpful but definitely no regret to make Gothenburg the first stop for Sweden. Comfort inn makes it worth to come back again in nicer weather.

Totally acceptable hotel, but not quite up to the standards of a 4-star experience. First of all, we didn't experience any cleaning of our room (which I can see if part of their policy, but if so, please let me know before booking or on arrival). Second, our room was very hot - we tend to like a somewhat cool bedroom when sleeping - and we couldn't open a window or adjust the thermometer. Thirdly, no coffee or tea options in the room. However, the placement is very good, and there's a nice view of the street/waterfront from the room (at least from ours). Also, the bar seemed nice.

We had a very nice week long stay. The night staff were very helpful and the property itself was nice. Our only complaint is the room-the beds are very basic, duvet cover only with no flat sheets. Pillows were lumpy and very used. We also had to ask for a room cleaning which is only available on the 4th days of your visit so if you need towels or to you must go retrieve this yourself from the front desk. Breakfast was very good though.

Great centrally loated hotel

We stayed here as part of a 4 day trip to Gothenburg. The hotel is very centrally located and as easy access to publice transport. WE had a premium room with a balcony which overlooked the river and it was really nice to have that space. They could clean the balcony a bit more often as it was a little dusty. The room otherwise was very nice and clean.Breakfast thoug is a bit of a mad rush. You had to book your timeslot the day before, but despite doing that no one check if you had booked when you came down. It meant that it was extremely busy when we went (despite going in our designated time slot) and it was difficult to find seating.

I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Hotel Gothenburg. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to shopping and to many tourist sites. Also there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel as well as a ferry boat terminal. It is also an easy walk to the train/bus stations. The hotel is clean and modern with a lot of interesting photos of Gothenburg posted throughout the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped me locate an open currency exchange store when I checked in. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel to people visiting Gothenburg.

Although the breakfast food was a good selection, the arrangements for tables left something to be desired - on one occasion I had left some food on the table, to indicate that it was still in use, only to come back with more food and find that the table was occupied by a couple and my food had gone!
