Beautiful property!

This is the 2nd time we have rented Hearts Ease. We love the house- its decor, 3 en suite bedrooms,proximity to beach, pool and town. Brenda is super responsive and a real delight to have as the house manager/contact. We did have several power outages during our stay- and could not find the flashlights. Hope to be back soon!

Reviewer Comments: Really great house for our party of four, far better than the houses in Sky Club and you have the same access to Pascal's where the food is actually really good. Great access to very private beach and close to Twin Coves beach for good snorkeling. The area is quite secluded which for us with Covid raging in Florida was a plus. House support staff is excellent.

Stunning views in Paradise

Our family visited this island for the first time for a spring break trip. The home is stunning and yet still warm and cozy. They had everything we needed from beach towels to cooking spices, to games & decks of cards. The morning was my favorite. Grab a cup of coffee from the screened in porch overlooking the ocean. There is no better way to wake up each day. My adult & teenager-kids loved the pool, short walk to the beach, and eating lunch a walk away at Pascals. It is an amazingly quiet neighborhood with manicured lawns and gardens. Convenient location for a short drive to Governors Harbor. We loved our stay and made lasting memories as a family!

Great house on an amazing beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved so many things about this house - the screened in porch facing the ocean, the proximity to the fabulous beach which we had to ourselves much of the time, plenty of beach towels and chairs/umbrellas that were in good condition... Our disappointment was that the air conditioning in the kitchen/2nd and 3rd bedroom side of the house was not working when we arrived, and even after repeated phone calls to Brenda (who seems like a lovely woman and she was trying) and the a/c repair guy Dwayne, it never got resolved. It took until Tuesday for Dwayne to diagnose the issue (bad compressor), and then he was unable to locate a replacement on the island - we assume, because he never would respond to daily phone calls asking for an update. The power went out several times, and something that would have been helpful is some battery operated lanterns/lights instead of just some votive candles. All in all though, we had a great week in Eleuthera with the friendly island people, and look forward to a return trip!

Wonderful Week in Eleuthera!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week in Eleuthera! This home is gorgeous! It has everything you need and is in a perfect location as it's only a few minutes' drive to Governor's Harbor. The views from the roof top are breathtaking and my favorite spot for early morning coffee and sunset cocktails. There was everything you needed for the beach: chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, snorkel gear, a large cooler and tons of beach towels. We enjoyed the pool as much as we did the beach and had it all to ourselves except for one hour the entire week. It is a saltwater pool so much better than chlorine. We had one issue with the wifi but it was fixed very quickly and worked perfectly the entire week. There was a good supply of drinking water provided as well as everything we needed to cook several meals. Don't miss the Friday night fish fry in Governor's Harbor. We loved dinner with live music on Wednesday at Tippy's right on the beach. Our favorite restaurant was Bucaneer on a back street in Governor's Harbor. The food was amazing with ice cream right next door! The best place for wine, beer and liquor is Bristol Wine and Spirits. Cheaper than other spots we tried and a much much better selection of everything! They also hooked us up with an amazing lunch made by a local woman out of her house that was delicious! My favorite Carribean beach was Receiver's Beach right below the was shallow and almost deserted with the most stunning colors of blue and teal you will ever see. I'd stay in this home again and was relaxed luxury at its finest! Being steps to the pool and the beach without paying for a private pool or paying to be beach front made it the perfect spot! It truly is a beautiful, private home in the perfect location with every amenity you could ask for! Thank you to all the amazing people at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals for all you did to make our week one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in a long time!

We were two adults and two teenagers and the house suited us perfectly. We did not take advantage of the beach as much here as we did other places and didn't find the beach club appealing (people were rude - only time we encountered that during our stay), but that may have just been the time we went. Highly recommend this house and it's location so close to Governor's Harbor.

We explored the island and found some great snorkeling spots. This property comes with our highest recommendations.

VERY comfortable sitting room and a well equipped kitchen! We couldn't ask for more!

The house is tastefully appointed and the location is beautiful.The property managers, Brenda and Billy Stubb, and their son, Kean (who facilitated car rental and much more!) were all the kindest people, like family!!!They also do a BBQ every Friday and Saturday just in the town north, James Cistern, which is a delicious mix of grilled meats, fried snapper, rice and sides...the coleslaw is amazing...I so enjoyed my stay at Hearts Ease and the chance to meet the Stubb family :)Will certainly be back one day soon!Also, Pam of Eleuthera Vacation Rentals, was also the Best at accommodating my changing needs & a pleasure to work with 🙏🏼

It was a very quick stroll to the beach and you could hear the surf at night and see the gorgeous turquoise water from all the windows on the ocean side. Because we visited during Covid, the house had not been used in months. Naturally there were a few little things the property managers had to repair, and Brenda and Billy Stubbs did a fabulous job of working to keep us happy. The house is lovely, fresh and very livable. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could possibly need. The landscaping of the entire development is varied, stunning, and well kept. Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was wonderful to work with and made everything easy for us. We would definitely go back. The restaurants were mostly closed (again, Covid) and we spent our time visiting the beautiful beaches. Lighthouse Beach and Alabaster were two of our favorites. Do not hesitate to stay here. Respect the house and furnishings because we want to return and enjoy it all over again.

We loved Hearts Ease

The property has character and was designed beautifully. We felt very comfortable in this home and the views are spectacular. The layout is great for a three bedroom home. All spaces feel very private. It is a quick walk to the beach, however it is was not that accessible for my older parents. You are able to drive if needed. Brenda, Lisa and Billy were great to work with and we appreciate the hospitality. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing quiet time away at one of the most beautiful beaches.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing vacations my family and I have ever experienced. The home is beautiful, on a fantastic beach only a minute walk from the home, and in a great location convenient to Governor's Harbour. The home was spotless clean when we arrived and were greeted by Brenda and Billy who checked on us often during our stay. They were fantastic hosts and provided us with all the information we needed regarding the home and the surrounding area. Everything you would ever need was provided including kitchen utensils and equipment, linens, beach towels, Wi-Fi, etc. Often we were the only ones on the beach enjoying the crystal clear ocean water and sand that was absolutely the softest we have ever experienced. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone interested in experiencing Eleuthera as we travel throughout the world and it is one of the best we have ever stayed in. While we were here we had awesome excursions with Fishbone tours and Tyman which we would highly recommend you do as both show you things and experiences that must not be missed such as snorkeling, fishing, sightseeing, swimming with turtles, and provide a wealth of history of the island. The grocery stores in town were well stocked so provisions were not a problem and we also enjoyed dining at 1648 restaurant, Tippys, Buccaneer Club, and La Bougainvillea. Hats off to Eleuthera Vacation Rentals and Pam who were a pleasure to work with and the easiest I have ever experienced with a booking. They covered every detail and left us worry free. Other than the beauty of this unspoiled island the thing that struck us the most was how friendly every single person we interacted with was. We can't wait to return someday.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hearts's Ease is a wonderful property with a great view of the Atlantic. However it needs a lot of TLC, especially cleaning. I realize renters can be hard on property, but what we experienced was just plain lack of care. The TV did not work the entire time we were there - Caretakers said they needed a part to repair. Who repairs a TV today??? The kitchen cabinets, counters, refrig door handles, etc. were so sticky we had to do a thorough cleaning before use, including washing all the dishes, silverware, etc. Supplied consumable items are limited, so be prepared to call and wait a day for additional, or, as we did, purchase your own. Overall, we had a great vacation and Eleuthera is a great place to vacation. Would stay again ONLY if we knew the property had been cleaned and repaired to a higher standard.

Great House

Would stay here again if we returned to Eleuthera (dishwasher not working the whole time so doing dishes by had for 5 ppl all week not ideal but stuff happens). Spacious, well decorated, nice views. Only bummer for us was massive sea weed (probably caused by heavy winds that week) on the beach we had access to and most of Atlantic coastline. First time to Eleuthera so not sure if we just got unlucky or if its more common. Fortunately on Eleuthera you have the Caribbean side to enjoy when one side is not ideal but do feel we missed a big part of the draw of the island due to that. Island over all was far less developed than we thought (abandoned cars every where, etc). Pluses and minus' for sure. If you love Eleuthera, i would recommend this house.

The property managers recommendations in planning the extras for our trip were spot on. The central location was perfect. The setting was unlike anything we've ever seen. The colors of the ocean and beaches are like heaven on earth! Don't miss dinner at 1648 a restaurant in the French Leaves Resort or lunch at Sip Sip in Harbor Island - the lobster quesadilla is not only delicious but shareable! Our favorite beaches were Old Club Med (gorgeous), Tarpum Bay(shells), Twin cove (swimming & snorkeling). Rent a car as you won't want to miss exploring this gorgeous island. Shout out to Tyrone Knowles who welcomed us at the airport with the car even though our flight was more than 2 hours late. This was the perfect family vacation spot!

Reviewer Comments: From finding Hearstease on line,making enquiries through Pam and staying in this historic home for a week was an experience none of our family will forget. We all loved it and tried to sit in all the lovely spots..the roof for sunrise..the sofas for the heat of the day and the World Cup,the back terrace for the end of the day glow and the porch to hear the cicadas sing in the moonlight. Pam was always so quick to respond to my silliest emails and is the fount of all knowledge. Thank you!Brenda was sweet,charming and helpful and a ready host.We all had a wonderful time in Eleuthera and are very grateful to you for everything that made our stay so special.

Perfect Spring Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the process to book Hearts Ease to the actual incredible home itself, we thoroughly had an amazing experience here. Miss Brenda was waiting for us upon our arrival and the house was immaculate. This place is so comfortable and well appointed that we did not want to leave. While there are some nice restaurants around you have everything you need to prepare great meals at home. We also rented a car from Brenda's son, Kean, who met us at the airport and directed us over to the house. Don't miss their great BBQ on Friday and Saturday! The beach at Heart's Ease is great and was pretty calm the week we were there. Crystal clear water and virtually no one else around. Incredible! Can't wait to go back.

Simply Beautiful and Beyond Our Expectations

Matt and Tara were so responsive when we booked and provided us with great information ahead of our trip. Heart's Ease was incredible. The views from the house and the roof deck are amazing as the sea changes colors throughout the day and the stars dance at night. We explored the entire island going as far south as Lighthouse Beach (amazing) and north to Spanish Wells for a boat tour of sandbars, sea turtles, swimming pigs and sting rays. There is so much to see and do. The best part was coming home to this luxurious home with it's high-end finishes and wonderful space for relaxing, cooking fresh fish and lobster. You will not be disappointed!

Best of the Best in Eleuthera!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Heart’s Ease tops our list for beauty, comfort and location! We rented Heart’s Ease with our family, 4 adults and 2 children (4 and 6) and it couldn't have been more perfect for our 7-day stay. It was impeccably clean, spacious and well equipped, with a convenient location just north of Governor’s Harbour. Brenda, the caretaker, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. (Don’t miss Brenda and Billy’s BBQ on Friday or Saturday in James Cistern.) Renting a car is a must! We were out and about every day discovering the beautiful beaches, meeting wonderful people and finding good places to eat. We did two excursions during our weeks stay. We loved sailing with Captain Bob Knaus, Eleuthera Sailing Adventures, from Bottom Harbor Beach to Man Island. We also had a wonderful adventure with Bahamas Ocean Safaris and Captain James Dunham, snorkeling with sea turtles and manatees, exploring hidden beaches and Sand Dollar Island. We would stay at Heart’s Ease again in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone we know!
