I fell in love with this funky guest house by the end of my 4-day stay. The owner has 6 cats who live in the courtyards and they will come visit with you throughout the day— this was literally the best part! The courtyards have fun statues/art all around and various braai spaces and a small pool. I will definitely be back!

Pleasant Stay

It was nice and pleasant. The only complaint that we had was that the mattress needs to be replaced as the right-hand side (looking at it from the foot of the bed) is completely shot, falls flat when you get into bed and makes a noise when you get up to go to the bathroom thus disturbing your spouse.

Great couple of days

Very good cottage. Spacious and well equipped. Good location as short walk to supermarket (Pick and Pay) and to the centre of town (for museums, restaurants, shops). Easy to drive into national park. Decor of the cottage was interesting! All bright colours with bold pink exterior! Only slight negatives were the shower didn't drain very well and the wifi was somewhat temperamental, but minor niggles in otherwise good accommodation.

A surprisingly pleasant stay.

Because of the price, we did not expect the surprisingly delightful stay. The room called City chic was well appointed with air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave oven, satellite TV, a small dining room set with placemats and enough tea and coffee for an army. The linen was white and pristine cleanand crisp. If I could make two negative remarks , they would be that it is further from midtown than we thought and, quite important, the quantity and quality of the toiletries should be improved.improved

La rue colorée et les cactus ... c’est Obesa Lodge

Accueil chaleureux avec de bons conseils et informations pour notre séjour à Graaff-Reinet....et tout particulièrement pour le restaurant « Polka » vivement recommandé Séjour d’une nuit dans le self-catering Jade, spacieux et bien équipé mais un manque d’éclairage (problème d’électricité en AFS...) Un beau jardin avec barbecue Tous les logements d’Obesa Lodge sont colorés et occupent toute la rue bordée d’immenses cactus...à découvrir....

Calme et agreable et bien situé.

Sejour agreable.Cadre original .Grand espace.Grand jardin barbecue .Seul point negatif les moustiques qui se sont introduits par les fenetres laissées ouvertes dans la journée par le service.
