「Perfect place to stay for the night before starting the Lakshore Trail in Pictured Rocks. Convenient for restaurants and about 2 miles from the Munising Ranger Station for the shuttle bus. Couldn't ask for a better location or motel. Will stay here next time.」

「We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. 」

「We were in town to hike and not looking for anything fancy, so this was the perfect place for our low budget. Cheap, old-school motel walking distance from downtown. The staff is nice and helpful - especially Susan! The check-in/check-out process was super easy. Grocery store, bars, restaurants, dispensary within a few blocks. Nothing fancy but a good deal for such a last minute purchase. 」

「This was an excellent location but they are upgrading. The drain in the shower was clogged with hair the faucet was loose so we had to hold it up so we could get the shower on. Also they use styrofoam still. The doors stuck because they painted and closed before it was completely dry. 」

「Would definatly come back, room was clean,updated and easy walking distance to downtown. Only 2 small things stood out..No soap in the shower & should be a sign labeling where the "OFFICE" is. Being a first timer at this hotel we walked around the entire building trying to locate it.」

「Outstanding modernized cabin deep the forest. Full kitchen with gas stove, toaster, microwave and large-capacity coffeemaker. Main heat source is the gas fireplace, which quickly warms the living area. Bed was outstanding. Amply provided with towels and washcloths. Despite its fairly isolated location is easy to find and only a mile from the main road (H58). You're in the wilds here, and the stars are bright at night. Highly recommended. 」

「The cabin was spacious and the location is very private. There were plenty of towels and the bed was comfy. I wish we had more time to explore the area around the cabin. A beautiful 15 minute drive to Munising. Will come back.」
