Property location and atmosphere was excellent. Room was not I believe was described to me. We had 2 queen beds that were separated by a bathroom- this was for privacy and to make it convenient for the 2 parties. However, upon arrival, the entrance to the bathroom was in one of other sides where the other bed was. Tried to make a change , but was told I had to pay $150 extra. Very disappointing to an otherwise great property

The main lodge that has the lobby, lounge, gift shop, bar and restaurant is beautiful with a great view of the lake. Staff that I interacted with in the lobby, gift shop and restaurant were exceptional. Food at the restaurant was amazing. As far as the cabin and room that I stayed in let me first say it was on the lower end of their rooms. It was small, and unimpressive when compared to the lodge. Nothing was wrong with it everything worked, was nice and clean, bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. It was however just kind of a let down when compared to impressiveness of the main lodge. That being said I would stay here again, however I would just try to book a better room.

This was one of the few times I ever did a self check in and it was such a was experience. Awesome location right outside Rocky Mountain National Park and breathtaking views. Wish we could see this property in the summer but the early fall is just as great! Just a bit chilly!

The overall experience was good. Setting is 5 stars. The lodge amazing. However, the cabin was much smaller than expected- until I read the history of each stage of the property. Then I understood why. Overall- The room is small- the shower even smaller- but the amenities at the lodge make the experience nice. Live music on Saturday night- with a huge circular fireplace set the stage for a relaxing evening. Very close to downtown. Though we drive down there. Shopping and dining in downtown is great.

This resort is in the bkrder of RMNP. The pool and hot tub were heated and overlooked Grand Lake...a breathtaking view. The restaurant and bar area were nice and the food was good but ery pricey for a family. There are restaurants in nearby Grand Lake that are more reasonable and have options. There were areas to walk around and the grounds were beautiful, but very hilly. The cabins were updated but very very tiny. Overall a very nice place although a bit outdated.

Everything was good except for our last night when the water pump under our bathroom wouldn't shut off. This noise kept us awake all night. Manager offered to move us or refund our last night stay. That was a great gesture and we really appreciated his customer-first attitude.
