Checked in at 7pm, went to dinner before going to our 2-bedroom suite. Upon entering the suite at 9pm, we were taken aback by how hot the room suite and each bedroom were. The thermostat was reading 85 degrees. Adjusting the thermostat didn’t even start to cool the room as the air out of the vent was just cool and not cold. Long story, shorter, front desk could fix and brought fans. No maintenance was available at that hour. Eventually, after front desk call the GM, a very nice maintenance man stop by 45 minutes later. Unfortunately, he didn’t speak any English and found it hard to communicate the issues. He adjusted the thermostat just like I did. Around midnight, it finally got to about 75 degrees. This made it still challenging to go to sleep. Especially for the senior citizen that was staying with us. The worst part of this was when talking about the situation with the hotel the next morning, he was very dismissive and told us that sometimes things break. He offered no compensation for this issue. The other staff tried to be as helpful as possible. DO NOT STAY HERE. (As long as this GM is running things!)
