    Kestrel Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion, one of two, in the village of Beck Side two miles from Cartmel. The cottage sleeps two people in one super king-size double, which can be arranged as a twin room on request, which has an en-suite bathroom. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with an electric stove. Outside is a shared terraced garden with patios and a lawned area and there is off road parking available. Kestrel Cottage is a fantastic choice for a romantic break at any time of the year. Will accept 1 well-behaved small dog, £10 supplement per booking.

    The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding.
